For the cost it was excellent. Clean and tidy, everything worked properly and I got a good night sleep. A cease to the property was secure but also easy instructions toFollow. The stair carpet need securing better but other wise for £89 it was a bargain. Literally 3 minutes from the park and with food close by. Nice and quiet too which surprised me.

The worst place I have ever stayed in. The third bed was absolutely awful. I had to sleep on the floor. There is no air conditioning and, worst of all, they refused to give us our money back. No one answered. DO NOT STAY HERE. Dirty, no basic things. Was a disaster.

We recently rented a room in the basement that included a kitchenette and a toilet. Our initial impression was quite positive, but unfortunately, that positivity quickly dissipated. The bathroom sink lacked any form of filter or protection, leaving it as nothing more than a gaping hole. The toilet brush was missing its handle, rendering it practically useless – a broken brush is as good as no brush at all. While a minor detail, the toilet paper situation was also less than ideal. Despite the presence of a holder, the toilet paper was left on the toilet seat, diminishing the overall comfort of the space. The shower was marred by mold on the walls and in the corners. Additionally, the glass itself was noticeably dirty and seemed untouched by cleaning efforts for quite some time.Beneath the bed, a layer of dust had accumulated, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. A simple vacuum or mop could have easily remedied this oversight. However, the most significant issue that severely impacted our experience was a door in the room that seemed to have been forcibly shut, creating a gap of approximately 1-2 cm. This allowed cold air to seep in, making the room uncomfortably chilly at night. To counteract this, we had to resort to using two heaters. The poorly closed door also amplified the noise levels, turning the room into an echo chamber for all external sounds. Street noises, housekeeping activities, and even the alert of a washing machine disrupted our sleep throughout the night. It was nearly impossible to find a moment of tranquility. In conclusion, we cannot recommend this place. Even for those who spend minimal time in their hotel rooms, the issues we encountered overshadow any potential benefits. The combination of cleanliness issues, malfunctioning amenities, and the significant noise disturbance made our stay far from enjoyable.

The hotel was simply awful. there is no air conditioning. refrigerator was broken. beds are old. rooms were not hygienic. There was nothing personal care. It had nothing to do with what was seen in the photo. no one answers the phones when you call if there is a problem.

I booked for two nights at room 101 via agoda. The moment I entered the room, I smelled a very strong pesticide, but I could not find out 'why'. I was very tired, then I slept. The next morning I found an insect creeping on my bed, and when I pressed it, surprisingly fresh blood came out. I wondered what it was, then I saw a few of them, and I realised that they were bloodsucking insects. I made a complaint, and the host said they would give me a refund if I cancelled my booking. But how can I cancel it as I have stayed for one night? So I contacted Agoda via chat. The Agoda staff then made an attempt to get in touch with the host to confirm it and request a waiver from them, but the host sadly did not respond. Agoda then sent me an email saying that the host would not give a waiver and advised me to book a room that has a free cancellation or book now/pay later policy. This is really disappointing. Agoda should have a better system to protect their customers in this situation. The system should be able to foresee unsatisfactory room conditions during the stay, not just before. Advising customers to book a free cancellation room only benefits the customer before their stay. What happens if, during the stay, the customer finds out about terrible conditions? And the host doesn't want to give any waivers, and no staff member can receive a complaint on the spot. It just ruined my family's holiday. So, don't stay there; it is not worth your money.

Great spot for a quick overnight stay in London, be warned though, the mezzanine floor is about 1m high, so you'll be crawling to bed.
