This is a fantastic hotel. Great location and amazing value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful. Has been perfect for business. The rooms were a reasonable size and both times I stayed I had a wardrobe to hang clothes and a window I could open for a breeze. Also free to leave luggage after checking out for a day to pickup later. As others have said the only thing missing is a kettle for tea and coffee in each room. If they made this small investment it would increase rating to 5 stars. There are hotels nearby that are more expensive with smaller rooms, no windows and extra charges for everything including holding luggage. Belgrave Hotel is a great no frills hotel in an excellent location.

I travel to London a lot and never wanted to spend a lot of money on a huge hotel room I only use for sleeping and never actually spend any time in. So Belgrave House offered exactly what I was looking for: central location and a small room with just a bed and a bathroom at an affordable price. The hotel is pretty much right next to Victoria station, which is fantastic for exploring the city! There are plenty of restaurants close by to choose from. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean and even provided free shampoo and shower gel. I got a room on the top floor, which meant it was very quiet, far away from the lobby and the staircase and with very few neighbours. Now obviously it's not a luxury hotel, but you get exactly what you booked.Only two minor minus points: the bed in my room was really short. I'm not tall (1,66 m / 5'5'') but barely fit into it. It was fine for me, but I do hope there are longer beds available for taller guests. I guess taller guests would not be assigned this room. Also, the stairs are pretty steep and there is no stair-rail on the top floor. That's no problem for young, fit people without heavy luggage but it might be a problem for others.I would, however, recommend this hotel for everyone who just wants a place to sleep for a couple of nights in a very central location!

Does exactly what it says on the tin:- very clean, comfortable, small basic rooms at affordable prices in the heart of London. When I visit London I am out all day and just use a hotel for sleep and a morning shower etc and this place is perfect for that.Friendly, helpful staff on the desk. As warned on the site there is no lift and the stairs are quite steep so be prepared for a workout getting your bags to the upper levels.

Very convenient location. Straightforward check-in. Room located in lower ground area, down some rather narrow stairs. The room itself was basic but warm, dry, and comfortable. The en-suite bathroom facilities were compact but met the need. Staff were friendly and efficient. Overall, it was a perfectly comfortable place to stay, and certainly very good value for money. Not luxurious, but ideal for a low cost overnight stay. I would certainly be happy to stay there again.

For what I paid for two nights I did not expect the level of premier inn or travel lodge, and anyone with a half a brain can see this. My room had a bed open plan wardrobes toilet and shower facility's, and a TV what more do you want . if you want the trimmings then pay a lot more money to moan about. The staff was excellent ,the room was cleaned when I was away I was very pleased. All the rooms need is a tea\coffee facility's and I would say you have a bargain especially as you are in the middle of London. I have been to a hotel in Victoria and it costs three time the amount and it was like faulty towers. Belgrade keep it up I loved it there.

Very good location for Victoria, Slough Square, etc. Their walk-in "tiny room" rate is currently £49, excellent for central London. The hotel is pretty basic but I seemed to get a free upgrade to a bigger room because it was not busy. TV but no kettle in room. Bed okay. Controllable heater and opening window. The bathroom light could be used for soft lighting but a bedside lamp would be better.

Fantastic location, easy access to all popular tourist attractions. The hotel itself could do with a freshen up. Stayed in 104, a twin bedroom with semi private bathroom. OK for mother and daughter or a couple sharing. However if travelling with friends etc, the shower is not private. It has clear glass and when using shower you are visable to the rest of the room. The prices to stay at the hotel are fantastic and it seems very clean.

The location is good, walkable from Victoria Station, some restaurants and supermarket nearby the hotel. The room was very small (smallest room I've ever seen). It was clean though. The bed was not so nice as it is placed from one wall to the other and it was too short for me (I'm 1.89m tall). If I slept on my back, my feet were touching the wall, which was not comfortable. The matras was not so nice, as it was too soft and I felt some spring wires. The bathroom is very small but clean and the shower was ok. Hot water with a good flow. Good for one night sleeping. I would not recommend spending more than two nights because of the bed.

Do not expect a lot from this place in terms of comfort and beauty. The place has the bare minimum. The "unluxurious" bathroom was small but functional (a toilet, a tiny sink and mirror, and a small/ plain shower), but did the job. The bedroom was outdated, and the beds awful, but it was cheap and ideally located (5 minutes walking distance to the Victoria Station). This place is great if you don't mind it's simplicity because once again it was cheap and close to public transports. The service was really good too.
