The room was very spacious and clean. Everyday they sent someone to clean the room and make your bed. One of the biggest downside is that at night, the windows don’t cut out the noise. So sometimes it’s hard to sleep because there’s so much noise. Plus the wifi is bad. But apart from that it’s a very good hotel with a nice staff.

I went to this hotel with my mom together. I think the reception is nice. First night we were assigned to a room at top floor where some roof almost taken 1/3 of the room area. My mother's calf hit the bed frame several times since the room is so tiny and the water was cold. Therefore I asked the reception if he can change a room for me. The person is so nice he managed to find another room for us so we had a pleasant second night. I think the hotel manager should update their room and devices. But the reception definitely left a good impression to me.

Great location. My unit was like a full apartment. The kitchen was nice. The front desk was very friendly and engaged with the guest. GREAT location near Paddington Station. Makes for a easy walk from the Heathrow Express or the Elizabeth Line to Paddington.

To start off with when I arrived at the hotel in one corner of the car park. I noticed Old beds, bits of wardrobe glass windows. …

The filthiest hotel I have ever stayed in, and I have been to a lot of them (I have visited 21 countries, including India and Lebanon) Starting with the rooms: Old, old furniture, broken windows, ( I asked the reception 3 times, they ignored me) I had to sleep with earplugs as it was loud outside. Beds were awful. But it had a full kitchen which may be handy to some people.Service: NONE! The receptionist man who looks middle eastern, doesn't even lift his head to see if someone entered the lobby. They don't greet the guests. The younger girls at the reception were a bit kinder. There was also daily room service, but tea and coffee was not replaced, there were no hand towels, no shampoo and conditioner. There was 1 color liquid in the bathroom for everything: hands, body, hair.Location: Location is great, 5 minutes walk to the Paddington station and close to Hyde Park.I will never ever book this hotel again, for this money.

Avoid avoid avoid! I have stayed at this hotel 32+ years. Obviously, Covid-19 changed everything. I stayed at the hotel 12 nights in January 2024. It is possible the hotel has new ownership. Regardless: the majority of the hotel now houses "Migrants". There are tables set up in the Reception Area: one has security personnel stationed for most of the day/early evening. There are folding tables that have personnel to assist the migrants. Large black plastic garbage bags are placed in the reception area, which contain, probably laundry for the migrants. One evening, returning approximately 11:00 p.m., I approached the front door and 2-3 "migrants" (not my term, the word used by hotel staff) were congregating adjacent to the front door. One male was spitting on the front door mat. This was disrespectful and an unsafe condition for me as I had to pass by to get into the hotel. On Saturday, 14 January 2024, a young male was the front desk/reception attendant. When I walked in late evening (again: approximately 11:00 p.m.); there were (2) keys displayed on the front counter. One was my key. The attendant stated he was "at the desk" and only 2 guests were not in the hotel. I told him I felt this was unsafe (for me and my possessions). He tried to assure me that he was always at the desk (what about a restroom break?). I had to wait until Monday, 15 January 2024 to speak to the "Manager" Kasia (Kasha). She listened to the 2 issues I spoke of. It did not seem like she cared that I had stayed at this hotel for over 30 years. She simply took the balance of my payment due (I believe 300 or 400 pounds which I paid in cash). She offered no discount or make good. She did state that she had offered me an apartment suite on the 1st floor instead of room 503. However: a ground floor "suite" with migrants loitering directly outside: would not have been safe. Additionally the suite she offered had a sleeping loft and a staircase. I felt this would not have been safe for me as I have mobility issues and I did not want to take a chance falling. This was my choice. The Westpoint Hotel (and Aspen Suites) is trying to position the apartment suites as available to paying guests. There is a small brass plaque affixed to the parking gate stating "Aspen Suites". Avoid this hotel. At all costs. It saddens me but there are other options. Joan H
