Just wanted to say I’ve read some horrific reviews about this place but me and my daughter stayed last night and it was really lovely. We dropped our bags off at 1pm and the gentlemen kindly put them in a luggage room and kept them there until we returned later from being out all day.Room was ready and clean when we got back.Big fan waiting for us in our room. Our room had a balcony too, our room was very nice and clean after reading reviews I checked all bed sheets but absolutely clean and bug free.Big spacious en-suite bathroom, lovely waterfall shower and marble clean bathroom. We missed breakfast as we over laid but that was our fault, we would definitely stay again if we was in the area.Yes it’s an older building but haven’t any real complaints for just an overnight stay. Not a far walk from the tube either x

Lovely stay, rooms are spacious and have ensuite bathrooms (room 22) No bed bugs in sight (previous reviews) continental breakfast provided. Lovely and quiet, comfy beds, plenty of USB plugs, superb location. Yes It's not the Hilton, but for the price and location you can't beat it.

I WOULD AVOID AT ALL COSTS.|Would give zero if an option.||Thought it was Fawlty towers!||Apparently, it used to be a hostel, but now SUPPOSED to be a hotel. Definitely, NOT A HOTEL.||Kensington prices, for less than Peckham standards. …

Booked this for our visit to the Royal Albert Hall - really convenient location. Quiet side street, don't be put off by the kerb appeal. It's spotless, rooms are huge and the breakfast is excellent.|Also it is now a hotel not a hostel - the rooms have wonderful news bathrooms, coffee making facilities etc

The staff are friendly and very helpful, The building is old I get the feeling that they are renovating rooms as they can, ours was very pleasant with a small, modernised W.C.and black marble floor. The room had a large bed for two and a single bed, both were comfortable and had a good view of the TV which faced the beds (we didn't use it)My rating is akin to the Michelin Star strategy -- you cannot easily beat it on value-for-money.For me, the staff were the lynchpin of the whole experience.

I booked this hotel as it was very budget friendly and in a good location for one night in London. The receptionist was very nice and let us leave our luggage at the hotel before check in. The room was big and seemed to have been recently refurbished. Lots of plug sockets by the beds, clean and modern ensuite with a toilet and shower, a kettle and tea, coffee, sugar included. Location is also incredible as you have the natural history museum, victoria and Albert museum, south Kensington tube station and Hyde park all within a 5 minute walk. The hotel was still quiet and you couldn't hear any noise. Overall, we were really happy and pleasantly surprised at how nice it was.

😵‍💫 Sorry to say this, but we will never ever come back !It was a last minute booking, but oh my.Truly dirty hotel with very disgusting carpets all over - and we were all more than w e l l bitten by bedbugs❗️ which we back home also found in our suitcases. The kitchen was in basement and rather unappetizing. We know it is a low budget place, but still. The positives: a very sweet kitchen/cleaninglady and the excellent location.Hotel, hostel or whatever, it could easily become fine, but they have some serious work to do.

BED BUGS stay away from this hotelWe had booked a hotel for our event near the Victoria and Albert Museum, just a 5-minute walk away. However, upon entering our room, we discovered that every single bed was infested with insects. When we complained to the receptionist, he didn't appear surprised, suggesting that he might have been aware of the issue. He offered to send us to another hotel located 20 minutes away by taxi, which was not ideal as we needed to be closer to our event. We checked with nearby hotels for availability, but unfortunately, there were no rooms available. The receptionist also informed us that a refund would take 3 days to be processed. Later, when he saw that we were looking for another place to stay, he refused to send us to the other hotel. After a heated argument with him, he finally agreed to send us to another hotel, the Blue Bells Hotel. Unfortunately, this hotel was also terrible, and one of the beds had bed bugs as well. As we couldn't find any other available room, we had to sleep together on a sofa bed. Both of these hotels were terrible, and we would not recommend them to anyone. We suggest that you stay away from these hotels if you don't want to get bed bugs.

About the room: apparently clean, just the fact that it was in the basement wasn't very nice but it was ok. And also the toilet lid was broken.About the reception: very unpleasant. We arrived at 3pm, which was supposed to be check in time, because we were carrying super heavy backpacks, and they made us wait for 30 minutes with the excuse that the room was still being cleaned.About breakfast: food was ok, but the staff were very unpleasant, we arrived to have our coffee at 9 (the coffee was supposed to be served until 9:30) at 9:18 they started cleaning and staring at us to leave soon, it was very unpleasant, maybe next time just wait until 9:30 to start cleaning and removing the food.
