Victoria by Q Apt 15, ReadingIt saddens me to say that this efficient hotel, is actually not efficient at all.It started with the Code to access the apartment. Luckily we were scheduled in to arrive the day after we booked the hotel stay, but can you imagine, realizing you have no access to enter your hotel room while at the airport? Then try to contact customer service at the airport, and hold for 10 minutes of lyft music before speaking to an agent, who tells you "But we sent you an email." ErrrThat was the first leg of this disastrous stay. This is truly unfortunate since we stayed in the exact hotel room and number, 1 year ago and it was great! The second part of this was inexcusable. Upon arrival, the bathroom floor was filthy, there was hair in the shower, on the floor, in the sink and worse, in the bed. The bed clothes smelled like someone else’s b.o.My Husband and I were so tired from traveling when we got there that we slept on the couch and figured we’d deal with this later on.Upon awakening, we noticed that the advertised Cafe Dulce Machine with it’s Nescafe cups of delicious brew where no where in site. Nope, not in the cupboards, not under the sink.I don’t know about you my Weary Bleary Traveling friend but no Coffee! How do you deal?I contacted Guest Services, and after 15 minutes of Pop Music someone picked up and exclaimed how sorry they were and that they would have someone there on Monday to deliver the Coffee Maker and someone would come by on Wednesday to clean the place. This call was made on a Sunday…. <--- None of this is good.People you need to avoid when speaking to The Victoria House Guest Experience Management are: Beatriz Tavares, Miechelle Vieira, Med venlig hilsen. These folks emailed us to say that they had an emergency with another apartment and needed access to our room immediately it couldn't be helped therefore the required access time didn't apply. They entered without our acknowledgment. The very next day a strange notice arrived in email: Pest control is entering into your space, couldn’t be helped, we couldn’t notify you sooner, we’re sorry. What happened to proper 24-hour notification, on your door? When confronted in an email how poorly a time our stay was we received “I’m sorry”. In the service industry, these words are an excuse to continue bad services. This Hotel should have considered a resolution like, “We will be right over to take care of your needs,” or “how can we make this right for you?” or “let us refund a night for your stay and inconveniences since we handled things so poorly on our end” Any of these ideas would have been amazing and would have cause for me to write an exemplary review but instead, well, here we are.So my actual Star Rating for this Hotel is a “0”; the only way I could warn all of you in writing my review was to give it a Star.Hope this helps,Your friend - The Traveler
