The room was good, with plenty of space and clean. En suite was adequate.Breakfast was very good with good quality ingredients.Evening dinner was disgusting. Half the starters were not available. Limited main course. Cod and chips was a frozen meal warmed up in the oven. I did complain but nothing done. If we hadn’t prepaid i would have left and not paid.

I did not especially like this hotel. The only thing going for it is the location is quite good and walking distance from the city centre. This hotel is up Banbury Road not far from Jericho and Little Clarendon Street. …

Loved this place, although a little hot inside. Friendly staff and the dinner was brilliant. Loved the lift with my sore knees. Walk into town inviting and the bus stop nearby was excellent. Room well equipped with tea and coffee, as well as biscuits.

We went on a Groupon deal so got a tired , small room. We didn't want to pay extra to park car, so parked over the road for free( Sunday). Friendly staff on reception. Lift a bit small, just big enough for two. …

Stayed with family for one night. Rooms were comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities, no fridge, ironing board and iron, hairdryer and large tv. My standard room on 3rd floor was more spacious with a bigger double bed (super king)than the more expensive executive room of another family member (ground floor). Very reasonable rates.Staff were great, enjoyed the bar for a nightcap and a good breakfast (can request vegan sausages). Parking was available on site.Maintenance was poor with a dangerous wobbly coffee table in my room and net curtains with a frayed hem. The toilet was so close to the large walk in shower screen that a tall person would struggle!A pleasant 20 minute walk in to the centre but plenty of buses and we caught a taxi back after a night out.We would stay again.

Standard room was well equipped but the bed a little firm and bathroom a bit cramped. |Breakfast was plentiful with a good range of food to select from but cooked items were rather bland and the coffee was weak and bitter. |Overall it was fine but I wouldn’t rush back.

Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Room very clean and comfortable and a very good buffet breakfast. We were there for the weekend and the position of the hotel meant we were able to have a lovely walk down to the river. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

A lovely hotel with great food and friendly service. Our room was on the first floor and quite noisy. Could hear people walking above us and got disturbed through the night and early morning.
