I usually start with the good, but I want to be sure that prospective guests know what they’re getting into. My room had no HVAC. The thermostat was either broken, or isn’t even connected to power. …

Our room was by the elevator do it was noisy when people used the elevator. It was conveniently located for walking or catching the subway and we walked about 15 min. after taking the train from Heathrow airport. The buffet breakfast was wonderful; a wide variety and delicious. Staff was very helpful as well.

I’m sadly to write my review that I’m not satisfied. When I checked-in that they already have been informed I would upgrade my room, and I paid my security deposit as per their regulations. I talked to them do I have to pay any extra charge for my upgrade. They told me no need because they have received the amount who is informing them. When I checked-out, I asked how long does it take when will you send me the security deposit? They told we are not going to return to you because the difference amount from original booking room to upgrade even though they told I have to pay more. When I check my statement I paid them twice and I’m trying to reach them nobody responded to me.How come such as International hotel is not cooperating with guest or customer like that. I’m truly sad for that.

There is no accountability here when something goes wrong. The staff either are ignorant or are not inclined to help you solve your problems should one arise. My room had multiple issues - thermostat broken, charging ports broken in several locations, TV not fully operational. I went to the front desk to report these issues at 8 am and was assured someone would come take a look during the day.I come back in the evening to find all of the problems still present. I dial 0 for the operator to follow up on my requests. No one picks up the telephone.I go back downstairs to point the issues out. I am told that they will send someone up.Someone comes up. They tell me that next time, I can just dial 0 for an operator for assistance. He proceeds show me how to dial 0. I then tell him to observe. The phone rings and rings and no one picks up. At this point, he is clearly embarrassed. He then proceeds to check on my thermostat issue. He reports back that it is broken, which is already what I had reported to the front desk. I thank him for telling me what I already know.I go back down to the front desk. They now tell me there are no more engineers available to look at my issue. No one seemed willing to provide alternatives to my issues, but they were more than happy to tell me a manager can follow up with me on my concerns.I am here for another 4 nights. I would not recommend this hotel based on the complete apathy of the staff to try and help solve any issues that arise.

This hotel should be closed asap to renovate its 1960 style. Rooms are old over 20 years. Carpet is run down. Bathrooms have fungus and patches. …

We had a wonderful stay at Marble Arch Marriott. Our room was clean and service was excellent. We loved the Pickled Hen restaurant attached to the hotel. We were a bit apprehensive about some rough reviews prior to our arrival, but found that they were completely unfounded. The location is perfect to explore London as it is in easy walking distance to buses and underground. When I say easy walking, let me add that I am a 65 yo female and my husband is 70!

Most of the positive reviews have to do with the location which is mediocre at best anyways. 20 minute walk to the closest subway station and not much of the attractions besides the arch nearby. The only redeeming quality of this hotel was the very large breakfast spread. The rooms were outdated, the windows were so dirty that you could barely see out of them and even though I checked in ahead of time I was still given a room without working AC. Furthermore there were no outlets anywhere close to the bed which is one of my biggest hotel pet peeves. Overall just extremely mediocre hotel that is not worth the price. Definitely would not return.

Staff and location are great. Hotel is very run down, room was dirty, dark and mold in the shower. Room also did not have proper lock system and they would not move me. Would not recommend staying here particularly for the cost the value is not aligned.

After reading the reviews I was a bit worried about coming. I didn't need to be! All of the staff were so friendly and lovely. The beds in the family room were comfy and the air con worked. Excellent choice for breakfast the next day. We really enjoyed our stay - thank you!

I'm not sure where the 4.1 Star is coming from? I booked here based on that rating. What a mistake. How do you "upgrade" someone to a room without Heat?!? The room was "old". My headboard was coming apart. I mentioned that we had no heat the first night to the staff and they seemed like this was normal. It's only 45f at night. In the room, it was much colder. The only redeeming quality to this hotel is the restaurant that's attached to it.
