Went up for the nufc match last night ( 1st Oct ) price was £53 with breakfast so didn't expect the Hilton hotel. Travelled from Leeds and getting to it is easy. …

Absolutely DISGUSTING hotel. We walked in and walked back out within 10 minutes - believe me when I say neither myself or my partner are fussy by any means or snobs but this place is one of the most disgusting places I’ve seen. …

Booked this for 2 nights as it was in walking distance of a wedding we were attending. Bit concerned about previous reviews. Yes it’s a little run down from the outside. It appeared to be have been painted recently inside. …

I’d leave no stars if I could! Never ever stay here! Arrived and waited 15 minutes at reception to be seen to, then we were taking to our room which was disgusting! Holes in the bathroom walls, no toilet roll then I came out of the bathroom to be greeted to a man in a tracksuit standing in the room folding a towel! Lock on the door didn’t work properly, I didn’t feel safe. The only way I’d describe it is it’s like a half way house! Safe to stay we stayed for 15 mins and checked out no way would I spend the night here absolutely awful!

Stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. The location is great too as bus stations are a few walks away. Car parking is also available. They even provided us a taxi when the UBER was taking too long. The Bathroom had water seepage but we managed it. Overall it was a really nice experience.

Don't know where to start, fortunately we were only staying for one night. The bed had a lump in it making it a really uncomfortable night. …

Disgraceful place, do not book. Paid the booking.com fee for a room for the night and when turned up insisted a £50 damage deposit was paid. This was not mentioned on booking.com. Nothing we could do as already paid for booking.com. Owner insisting we pay direct to him. Will not use again.

Avoid.Room was terrible, the replacement room was terrible too. Beds were uncomfortable and the place in general is tired. Was making a complaint at reception when a man walked past covered in sick, other guest appeared to be living there permanently and In need of social services. We had to find a new hotel , the manager wasn't on shift but when we called the next day to ask for a refund the manager wouldn't come to the phone or return our call (to scared) which is a shame because they then hid behind the booking website and denied any issues.

I booked a one family bedroom for 1 night; the room had a very smelly odor as soon as I opened the door probably coming from the dirty carpet as it looked quite old. …

We had to go down many smaller flights of stairs and my mum doesn't get around as good as she used to. We probably could have asked for a room without going down as many stairs but it didn't seem like many people were staying there. So not sure why we were put where we were. Beds were comfortable. But the lighted mirror started flashing during the night. I almost thought it was an alarm. But we closed the bathroom door and the light didn't bother us again. I would probably stay here again.
