We four guests and three little dogs stayed here 14th October for 2 nights, on arrival we had fresh coffee and homemade scones, which was so nice. The rooms are lovely and clean and you even have your own lounge. …

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights over the new year. It's great that Fern Tor is doggy friendly as our little Jack Russell loves going away with us! We all enjoyed walking in the peaceful countryside. …

Fern Tor is a beautiful b and b, clean, modern inside but with a traditional feel. We had the room with the en-suite lounge and the bed was massive! With lovely Faith In Nature smellies provided. …

A Vegan haven and hidden Gem.Stayed over on our first Anniversary. We had a lovely downstairs room with small garden. Beautifully decorated.Breakfast was a tasty affair and being all vegan, nice to be able to have it all without substitutions. This was many years ago, and I'm glad to see that they are still going and have fab reviews!Keep it up.

A hidden gem for vegans and vegetarians. Jane and Cliff were very welcoming, providing us with a cup of tea on entry (with soya milk), as well as tea making facilities in the room. The room itself was very cosy, including a living/dining room, the bedroom and bathroom. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of sheets provided. The shower was nice and warm, easy to use and (vegan) shower gel was provided. We could also access the garden and seating area outside of the room, which was pleasantly quiet. My partner slept very well, and I didn't because I'm a terrible sleeper, but this is no reflection on the bed or the room. It was dead silent, so you can sleep very peacefully. In the morning a full vegan breakfast was provided, along with cereals, fruit, tea and coffee. There was also the choice of vegan pancakes etc as an alternative to a cooked breakfast. For vegetarians, there was the choice of eggs from their rescued hens. The price, at £81, was reasonable and worth it. Overall, I would recommend.

Absolutely beautiful peaceful place to stay. Jane and Cliff are so welcoming and helpful. They showed us around their sanctuary. All the animals are rescued and have a lovely home here. A vegans paradise. Thanks so much for having us. Very highly recommended!
