A perfectly good place to stay for the night rather than travel back to Cornwall very late. Staff were nice and welcoming. The room and ensuite was very clean and the bedding and towels smelled and felt very fresh and clean. The breakfast was good. For the price (£59) we felt it was reasonable and we would stay there again.

This was a one night stopover on the way to Cornwall. The young lady on reception was friendly, the room was fine though not luxurious! We had a twin room as that was only one available online but price was excellent. …

A fair distance from the city centre. the room is a bit small but I was satisfied with it as I didn't feel discomfort. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. Really good pricing, great location. 9/10 would definitely book again. Also, could I point out the wardrobe in my room which I thought was a little odd but it was funny to see and it brightened up my stay xD

Really good staff who were very helpful and welcoming. Stayed for 2 nights in a twin room. Lovely clean, comfortable beds and a good sized ensuite with bath as well as shower. For the price, in such a central position, I don't think I could fault this hotel. Will definitely be back. Thank you for our stay.

Stayed one night, room was clean ,comfortable and reasonably spacious. Breakfast in the morning was as good as I've had anywhere. Staff were pleasant and helpful ,would book there again . It is central to Exeter, with a pub just found the corner.

Is this B&B basic? Yes. ||But is it clean? Yes. ||Does it have friendly and helpful staff? Yes. ||Is the breakfast good? Yes.||Is it worth the money they charge? Absolutely. ||Accommodation near the city centre, if you’re staying one or two nights, doesn’t get much better value than this. Would definitely stay again.

By no means a bad hotel, very happy with what we got for the price. Clean room, comfy bed, lovely staff and great breakfast. |Unfortunate that it's a bit noisy as you can hear other people very clearly around you! And yes it looks outdated. But honestly it ticks all the boxes and you could do so much worse.

I thought I knew what I was getting into by staying here, but I didn’t quite expect it to be as basic as it was. On the plus side it was very clean which is always a necessity. …
