The service is excellent, clean spaces, comfortable and the staff are always lovely and go the extra mile with the little one's. On our last visit they provided the highchairs, crayons, colouring, kids menu etc and a water bowl for the dog without having to enquire. (The service has improved greatly we have found from a few years ago). This year we've already visited four times!

Training day in bottom function room . 21.05.24. Nice provision of refreshments. A wall clock would have useful. Friendly service. Unfortunate clas of our resuscitation traing and a post funeral booking. Toilets in need of clean and refurbish. ( some areas looking tired and a bit grubby). Tap fittings in front toilets a bit loose. Nice environment for a training session.

Mixed reviews for this place. Just been there for a wake. Some staff were excellent but the managers were lacking in skill and knowledge. We had to pay £35 just to have the bar open and then there was just 1 person having to serve over 200 people. We had asked for 10 tables but there was only 9 set up. They ran out of certain drinks which was bad. The food cost £14 per head and was reasonable but for people with allergies they only offered a few sandwiches. At one point they locked the doors on us so we could not use the other bar which had a lot more drinks to choose from. Overall the general staff were friendly and efficient under the circumstances. Thank-you Kitt for your bar service

I had time to kill, so enjoyed a drink and a light lunch whilst I typed up my work using the free WiFi. Lovely surroundings and a beautiful day.

So, I'd left a review a week or so ago! Lovely hotel, bar, restaurant and location, worked really well for us 👌🤗All I would say, without being too specific is that if certain bar staff aren't well, feeling or sounding it, then maybe they shouldn't be at work! Coughing over drinks, bar, punters etx isn't the best idea.... and being able to pour a Guinness properly, is a must! Hope the visit and experience is better next time 🙏😋🤭😁

A friends wake was held there. Lovely gardens... extortionate prices! - That's about all I can say.

The staff here go above and beyond. Arriving 10 mins before kitchen closed they produced delicious meals for our table of 4. They arranged late check out after we spent all night at the hospital instead of in the roo.m enabling us to grab 3 hours sleep and freshen up. They were incredibly polite, friendly and respectful, full of genuine empathy. 10/10

We have had Sunday lunch here a few times and always enjoy the meal and the great service. However, last Sunday was a disappointment. The same great service, but the food wasn't up to the usual standard. The vegetables were raw and after informing the waitress, who was very apologetic, a separate portion of mixed vegetables were brought out, which were equally as raw. I understand al dente, however these vegetables were quite raw and ruined the whole experience. Thankfully, the service was as great as usual.
