We spent a lovely weekend at this hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, our room was comfortable and the food is truly excellent.The Little Lodge is a great addition to the hotel. It has a trendy, modern vibe and the street food is excellent. A real asset to the area.The hotel is within walking distance of Ashburton, a charming little town, full of independent shops, restaurants and coffee bars.The hotel is located right on the edge of Dartmoor National Park and a short drive to many excellent attractions and to the coast.We would highly recommend a stay here.

We stopped off for Sunday - we had not booked and boy we will next time! We ate in the bar, which was fine - as the food was SUPERB| hot tasty and so well cooked not a mushy veg in site ,and, proper roast potatoes crunchy and fluffy yummy.|Only shame for us we are 90 mins away, lucky people in Ashburton!|Well done!
