We arrived at reception and were met by Sabina. She said she could come to the room later and make up the spare bed. The following morning she was on reception again and was very pleasant and asked if everything was OK with our stay. |She is a very happy girl and seemed to enjoy her job. |10/10

Excellent stay! Wasn’t sure what to expect from a budget hotel but the central location, clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff made my stay a pleasure. Bed was comfortable and it was surprisingly quiet given the city centre location. Best thing is that it’s dog friendly. Can’t fault it!

I recently stayed and was blown away by the exceptional service provided by the receptionists, Ben and Wiki. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and efficient. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel welcome and at ease. …

The Travelodge itself was clean & a good size room on upper floor. BUT don’t stay here if you want a good nights sleep! The location is a stones throw away from Revolution nightclub which is LOUD with music pumping til 3am (even mid week). Not pleasant. Road noise, cars, motorbikes and drunks leaving the club! Doors are heavy and were slammed on/off all night. Slept from 5am until 7am then doors started banging again!! Wouldn’t stay there again, shame as nice and clean with comfy beds but location is a real downside.Stayed Wednesday 30/10/24.

I had a camping knife go missing after they came in and changed my bedding, I tried to report this to a manager and all he said was "it wasn't our staff because they would lose their job" I asked him to make enquiries but he refused and repeated what he said. Because of this I'm missing a core part of my favourite hobbies. There was some polite cleaning staff and the night staff were all excellent. But a manager refusing to do his job is unacceptable!!!!

A very basic hotel with zero frills. Great central location. Does not have it's own parking (roughly £11 a day a short walk away). Key card stopped working for us both days around checkout so had to use the small lifts to get them working again at the front desk. The two women working there were helpful and fixed it quickly. But it was quite annoying, especially when we'd gone back to use the loo. The only way to cool the room was a small fan and the room got very hot, especially the ensuite. Once I accidentally knocked the fan on its side because we'd positioned it on a chair next to the bed as it was sweltering hot that night and we were struggling to sleep. This sent the dust that was caked inside the fan flying across the room in big dirty fluffy chunks. Pretty disgusting and they should probably figure out a way to clean the fans or a better way of cooling the rooms. Everything else was clean. The housekeeping and security guard at night were friendly too. Couldn't fault the staff at all. Only food available on site was a vending machine and basic uncooked breakfast brought to your room, which was fine because there's a huge variety of places to eat a short distance's walk. It was what we should have expected for the price. Don't think I would stay here again.

Perfect place to stay for a quick visit, no frills friendly staff, I stayed in family room, two single beds and a double bed in the middle, bathroom facilities, overhead shower and bath, plenty of towels and toiletries provided, also a heater on the bedroom wall if it gets cold, definitely stay again.

A Travelodge in the city centre, with paid parking available near by, with a choice of places to eat and drink, it is not surprising most people only stay room only. Two lifts give you easy access to all floors, we were on floor 2 towards the end of the corridor and it was noisy during the night, never got a good night's sleep.

I’ve stayed here on occasions when visiting Plymouth. The biggest issue is of course the lack of car parking spaces. However the rooms are always lovely. That’s the benefit of a budget chain.
