Arrived to find a full car park, heart sink but eventually with help from a lovely person that was a car park around the back. Unfortunately the building was in need of painting so our heart sank again. …

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was excellent. The staff were incredibly helpful and understanding, especially given the several technical issues that made the stay frustrating at times. The parking machine malfunctioned and eventually stopped working. It was raining heavily, and with no cover, both the staff member and I got soaked. Despite this, the staff member was cheerful and eager to assist me.The bar area was cash-only because the card machine was out of order. Additionally, the juice machine wasn’t working, and there were delays in the kitchen due to equipment issues. My key card didn’t work initially, so I had to return to reception to get it fixed. As I mentioned, the staff were impeccable and very helpful, in stark contrast to the infrastructure. They truly seemed to understand the issues. As for the location, there were no nearby dining options, and the hotel’s food was just okay, served in an atmosphere reminiscent of an old people's home.

Had an amazing stay here. The room was clean and exactly what we needed along side then having good vegan options for breakfast and also tea. Edyta (I believe that’s how you spell her name) was so lovely and really helpful for me and my mum, she really made our stay here that much better and because of her alone we’d absolutely come back on our next visit to Torquay! Please let her know how lovely she was from myself and my mum Joanne ❤️

Nice hotel, good location not in town so fairly quiet. Breakfast was good value if you want a good fill up for the day. If you are only a light breakfast eater you can get cheaper options though not unlimited as it is here.||The accessable room we booked was very good with a full wet room, low sink and soaps, wide areas in room.||

Fine for overnight , everything clean . Room rather stuffy as window only opened a couple of inches . Bit disappointed the free WIFI was only for 30 mins, large car park was £4 for 24 hours for guests. Breakfast had lots of choice so good value for £10 compared to other hotels .

Just got back from a week in this hotel. Everything was great apart from the ridiculously small TV. I didn't think it was possible to get a TV this small, which gave me eyestrain 🤔. The bathroom was nice, but it could do with a moveable shower head. Receptionists were lovely and helpful and the size of our room was. I wouldn't think twice about returning back, but hopefully by then the tv's will be larger.

Cheap and cheerful in a great location, limited parking. Room we had was not that large and the bed not central so one side had limited space, the shower room was small and the shower leaked badly at the tap, needs a refresh not up to the completion standards going on this room. Breakfast was ok with enough choice for most people and the staff seemed ok but we never really had any issues as it was a one night stay. Going to book again as the location is closed to family but most likely would not want to stay a week.

Thought it was closer to the sea but that was my fault for not checking location. Make sure you read all notices because the staff will automatically think you have read them. Very good rooms, managed a gd night's sleep over the stay. Very good breakfast.

The young lady on the front desk when we booked in Sep 18th 24 and out 19th Sep 24, was charming friendly and very informative. 100% for her. No 12 bus opposite runs several times an hour until late to city center and Quay. Perfect if you don't want, can't drive. Quiet room on top floor. Too hot in the night though, not helped by anti open and jump windows.Highly recommend the hotel.

Stayed in this travel lodge and the bed was disgusting and the matress was filthy and worn through. Felt like what I would imaging to be a prison cell. Only offered a £50 voucher for another stay not a refund not a happy customer.
