Excellent place to stay. I used to live there and they have absolute success here. Lovely staff very welcoming. Clean comfortable reasonably priced rooms. Great quality good value food. Lovely views. A definite favourite shame it’s such a long way from Yorkshire

Visited with friends for a drink and an afternoon meal. Really good location and the staff are very friendly. The food however, disappointed all of us. We all got steaks (different ones) and they were all really bad. Mostly cooked as requested but there was a really bad smell in all steaks, almost like you could smell the barn itself. All other items on the plates were perfect. Please check your suppliers as it’s really a shame, your place deserves a lot better!!

This photo was my view from our room. The weather was lovely that day. The staff were friendly, service could not be faulted. My only issue was that there aren't any dairy free options on the menu, except for a French omelette, which I ordered. It was OK but I won't order it again.

A really welcoming pub, great owners and great staff. All the beers, especially the ales are kept really well. We've always found the food to be excellent, whether a snack or a full blown meal. The location, on the banks of the Tamar just can't be beaten.

Wanted somewhere near water to let our spaniel have a dip whilst we had some food. |Dog had a great time. We had a lovely pint of shandy but no food. Originally told food doesn’t start til 1800 fair enough so we waited the 45 minutes. …
