Lovely meal last night. The ladies serving were friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and plentiful. The atmosphere in the bar area was welcoming, so glad we chose not to sit in isolation in the restaurant! Lovely chat with two ladies, fellow boaters, on the next table, with very well behaved dogs, too!All in all, a very enjoyable evening! Thank you. We hope to be back quite soon!

We had dinner here while on a narrowboat holiday. Great food and service. On the more expensive side for pub food, but very good quality. Very pretty and clean. The staff were very friendly and informative. Would definitely recommend for a pleasant evening out.

Took a friend out for Sunday lunch and a catch up...staff are extremely pleasant and the dining area clean and well laid out. Super friendly for dog owners but we didn't have one. Food was perfectly cooked and well presented 😋. I would definitely recommend a visit if you are in the neighborhood...

We genuinely didn't know what to expect when we first stopped in here, but we have now eaten here 3 or 4 times in the last week or two. The food is fantastic and every meal has been delicious with great portion sizes. The service has also been faultless with all members of staff being friendly and efficient. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

An excellent dinner experience - great food, lovely service - made us enquire about coming in for breakfast as non-residents ( we camped at the Old Dairy Farm), and we were welcomed for that. Breakfast was also top drawer. All in all, a totally deserved five stars. :)

Had a fabulous Sunday Lunch at the Bracenose Arms last Sunday. Beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. We'd moored up on the canal and walked to the pub. Would definitely recommend and will visit again if we're in the area.

Had a lovely stay. Rooms were very clean and comfortable with everything needed for a lovely stay. The carpark is small, but there is limited street parking. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice - a great way to start the day.

Having previously had a great lunch from the bar menu we decided to book for supper and test out the a la carte. The dishes were disappointing and expensive. Stick to the bar menu-I’m sure the scampi and chips would be great and much better value.
