Lovely place, and Lucie makes you feel so welcome and cooks a great breakfast. It's a really nice country house with lots of history and lovely hosts. I would stay again as it was so peaceful, and we felt very comfortable.

A pleasant room in a nice location, but extremely overpriced. There were children playing noisily in the house outside the room, and the vegetarian breakfast option consisted of a pastry. So, not the best place for a romantic break. Pleasant enough but at a price that should deliver deluxe rather than average.

Staff/owners were very welcoming and helpful. Enjoyable stay. Good food. Thank you. Great location as our company uses a train venue a couple of miles away. .................................Sorry I don't have time to write 200 characters!

This isn't like being in a BnB, it's like staying with friends who want to make your visit the best possible experience you can have! Lucie, Charles, the girls, and the dogs welcome you with such warmth and good humour, I didn't want to go home. The view from the window is amazing, everything is beautiful and clean. The house itself, due to it's age, has many unique quirks - like the floor in my bedroom that slopes, and the creaks in the floorboards! It adds to the charm, although if you're over 6' you'll need to watch out for the beams.Sitting in the garden I could feel myself relaxing, listening to the birds and smelling the honeysuckle, and the gentle sound of the brook flowing behind me.Idyllic, yes. Would I go back? Yes, absolutely!

This is a beautifully restored old country house, full of original character and charm, a real treat to be able to stay there. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a nice view across open fields. We had a great nights sleep and super no nonsense English breakfast, served by our fabulous hosts, making us feel very welcome and at ease. Although it’s not an easy place to find, SatNav leaves you 100m short of the house, just keep going down the windy lane! Hollow Meadow house is the last one on the right. We’d definitely go back.

A beautiful house, lovingly restored, decorated with quirky touches set in a stunning location. Delightful, knowledgeable hosts that were able to explain the history of the house and local area. So much more than just a bnb

I can't recommend this b and b enough. The family made us feel so welcome and they catered to our every need. I have some special dietary needs and these were happily catered for. The breakfast was of excellent quality and we were waited on by two charming little girls, which just added to the experience. I am really hoping we will need to stay in the area again and so can stay at this beautiful house, with beautiful views again.

+Lucie could not have been more accommodating to our needs. We arrived in the dark, drenched through but there was plenty of hot water, a locked garage fir our bikes and radiators to dry our wet clothes..
