A wonderful little pub. We went for a family meal and thoroughly enjoyed it all. The food was very good and the portions were very generous, you certainly won't leave wanting anything else. The staff were friendly, attentive, and accommodating to our wants and needs. I highly recommend it.

My partner and I went today and I can honestly say it's a hidden gem. The food was fantastic, The Brie starter is unreal, Chilli by far the best I have tasted since my Grandma's, the Ribs were huge, Zinger Burger awesome and to top it off, one of the best Sticky Toffee Puddings I have ever eaten ... and I class myself as a pudding connoisseur! Finally the service was fantastic, we didn't take the ladies name today but she is a real credit to the Red Lion! Would highly recommend and we look forward to going back again ... first time but not the last!

Not really a pub, need to book ahead... It said on website that food was served from 6 got there at 6:20 with one other table occupied. Only to be told no food until 7:30 as chef is too busy...

We dropped in for an evening meal whilst staying at a nearby caravan site.Fabulous traditional pub, the building is full of original features and character.Warm welcome on arrival and staff were friendly and attentive throughout.Food was delicious, freshly prepared, well presented and generous portions (the mains perhaps a little too generous for us but would have probably managed it all if we hadn't also had starters).Absolutely worth visiting if you are in the area.
