Lovely cottage with everthing provided. Didn't appear to have a fire extinguisher. Julian was very helpfull,despite being marooned as there was a power cut and the electric gates would't open he cut a path through to an old gate and we were able to leave.

We had a marvellous stay at Hidden Cottages in Warwickshire.The barn was delightful, immaculately clean and well-designed with plenty of room to relax in.Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and we found tea, coffee, biscuits and cereal on arrival.I used the cooker to make meals as the kitchen has a great oven, hob and microwave with all the utensils one needed. There are however good pubs etc. for meals and we would recommend the pub in Tanworth in Arden or the newly opened Italian in Henley in Arden. The latter town has good shopping facilities but you will find details of all that and more in the excellent information provided in the living room.The barn is set in beautifully peaceful countryside and we enjoyed exploring the walks around it. Julian even alerted us to the time of the passing of steam-train excursion.It was difficult to imagine that we were so close to cities such as Birmingham, Warwick or Stratford on Avon. All there to enjoy if one had a mind for a cultural visit of some sort.We would definitely recommend this very special bolthole and hope to return sometime.

A lovely cottage away from all the busiess of life.The cottage was well looked after and very comfortable especially in opening the bifold doors when hot.Host, Julian was attentive to our needs( which were few!) and available.Lots of places to visit nearby especially the town of Henley. Don't miss the ice cream shop!
