The Old Manor House, a real insider tip, is very quiet and in a great location. We couldn't have wished for a better holiday home and host. The large rooms are furnished with attention to detail, you immediately feel very comfortable. …

Wow. This was my first word when I arrived at the Old Manor House. It is so beautiful - the house, the rooms, the shared areas, the gardens, the surrounding area near the house.  …

Our bridal party stayed here just before and after the wedding at a venue nearby at Blackwell. We booked all three rooms in the main house so had the place to ourselves. Jane and William were wonderful hosts. …

Our stay here was minus the host couple but I have to say their stand-in, Bridget, excelled, even taking up the mantle of taxi driver when we failed to locate any to bring us back from our celebratory meal out at the nearby Fuzzy Duck.  …
