"Exceptional Stay with Outstanding Service, Attentive Staff, and Superb Dining"My recent stay at Watling Inn was nothing short of exceptional, offering a truly memorable experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the staff provided an impeccable level of service, going above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their professionalism, warmth, and willingness to assist with any request made me feel immediately welcomed. The front desk team was always courteous and quick to offer helpful local tips, while the housekeeping staff maintained the room to the highest standard of cleanliness and comfort. My room was spacious, well-appointed, and designed for relaxation, with a bed so comfortable it made resting after a day of exploring effortless. Additionally, the hotel’s restaurant was a true highlight, offering a diverse menu filled with fresh, high-quality ingredients and beautifully presented dishes. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, the service in the restaurant mirrored the hotel’s overall excellence—prompt, polite, and attentive without being intrusive. The location of Watling Inn is also ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions, making it perfect for both business and leisure travelers. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough for its combination of top-notch hospitality, dining, and comfort, and I look forward to returning for another visit.

Firstly, the accommodation looks scruffy from the main rd, with pallets, building materials to the side and a shabby front door. …

Not welcoming at all. Untidy looking and dirty. Only half decorated. Room and bathroom unfinished. Breakfast was only warm and wrong order served. Previous reviews must be the people who work there cos nothing was as advertised. Wouldn't stay again
