We stayed for two nights and had a fabulous stay. Lucas and Daniel were both fantastic hosts throughout our stay. The hotel is lovely. Our room had everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable. …

My wife and I recently stopped at the Townhouse for a couple of nights.Firstly, the location is great. Right in the heart of Stratford and on a lovely road. Our main issue came with the rooms. We paid for the deluxe room (with the bath in the living area). On arrival, we noticed pretty quickly that we weren't in the right room. I went down and asked the barman who said that there was a cracked window so the room was unavailable. Fair enough, but would have nice to have been told. He told me to wait until the next morning to speak to another member of staff.I spoke to this member of staff (the same person we met on arrival) who said the room was in the same price bracket. I told them that wasn't true as there was only one room in that higher bracket. They then suggested that this was "only a tenner" difference (!). I confirmed that it was £40 over two nights which equated to 15 odd percent of the overall price! Was pretty surprised having somebody else telling me the value of my own money. In the end two mornings of complimentary breakfasts were offered, which we took. I noticed at breakfast the room we weren't given was actually available online for that very night.Breakfasts were really nice and the room we got was fine. Would have been happy if that was the one I'd actually paid for. The service left a lot to be desired. A shame.

The location is excellent and the bedroom looked smart although their description of ‘cosy, small and compact’ is certainly accurate. There was a small hanging cupboard and table (but no drawers). …

Stayed for one night in room 6. Room was spotless, no faults in terms of cleanliness. Room was very hot but window could be opened and a fan was provided so again no complaints. Comfiest bed/pillows I have ever slept in! …

Lovely room in a really nice hotel in the heart of Stratford. Room was beautifully furnished and clean. Bathroom was great too with a wet room shower. Staff were really friendly and catered for our every need. Even got a complimentary continental breakfast in the morning.

Lovely room albeit with some minor wear and tear. Beautiful hotel, ideal location. Breakfast was overall pleasant but some items, food as well as crockery, were missing and had to be requested. Pastries had run out already by 9.45. Coffee wasn't hot. Service very polite and made up for the lacking breakfast spread. Would stay here again.
