The staff were brilliantly helpful and friendly. The pub is in a quaint village and the White Swan is a proper "local's local". Having said that, the locals were really friendly too.The room was comfortable (actually, the bed was really very good indeed!) with the only criticism being that noise travelled through the walls from neighboring rooms. I was lucky though as my fellow guests went to bed the same time as me. There was a good selection of beer in the bar and I really enjoyed my evening meal. Worth noting that breakfast is not served here.It is only a few miles from the M40 but was deep in the British countryside.I would definitely stay here again when in that part of the country!

We stayed for one night and the staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. The room was small, but very clean with usual amenities. We did have a basic room, as the others were booked, but am sure other rooms would be bigger. There was no food at the time we stayed, this may have changed now, but we were told they were very happy for us to get fish and chips and eat it in the bar.If I had a criticism it would be that the mattress was very, very soft, but this is more a personal preference. The village is lovely and I would definitely recommend a stay!

Great pub with friendly staff. The landlady, Alisha, welcomes all customers local or visitors with a warm smile. The rooms are converted stables and are both clean and comfortable. Just 10 mins from the M40.

Had a 2 night stay ready for a wedding which was 7 minutes drive away. The most unexpected treat to find this gem. Great pub, rooms in converted stables/barns, so not above noise. So cosy! …

Stayed here for the night as I had a conference at the motor museum down the road. Pub is very nice and the accommodation is good. It's build from what looks to be an old stables building. Nice decoration and facilities. Comfortable bed too. Only thing to note is the walls seen quite thin, I could hear people in the next room talking in the morning.

Genuinely the worst nights sleep I have ever had in a hotel. Stayed during a week day and it was ridiculously loud most of the night. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting, someone had used the toilet and not flushed and the spoons for the coffee were used so I don’t think it was cleaned

Stayed in room 2. Just perfect. Lovely staff, traditional pub with fantastic welcoming atmosphere and friendly locals. Great room and excellent value for money, can't find a fault with it. …

A rough drinkers pub, only missing the sawdust on the floor. Locals sit on stools or stand drinking at the L shaped bar so you get served over them. The staff are pleasant. Very limited menu during the week, pizzas or burgers. Not a place to take a woman.

Never stayed in the rooms but can only assume they're amaze balls. As for my experience there, well there are no words, quite frankly I don't think I will ever reach the euphoria of my time there again.
