Hugely better than we expected. We went for an afternoon tea. On arrival were shown to our seats. Staff were attentive but not overly fussing - which is always good. We were served promptly and the food was fresh and great quality. The sandwiches were well filled and supremely fresh. The cakes were delicious and plentiful. The potted tea was delicious and they had decaffeinated. Great product in lovely setting. Also visit the church facing the entrance, it's a lovely tranquil spot for reflection.

Wroxall 'Shabby' was refurbished on a shoestring about 3 years ago. It was ok to start, but the cheap refit is now deteriorating and needs serious attention. The cleaning of rooms is very poor. In my case, big spiders and cobwebs in corners of room, stained bed sheets and stains on bathroom windowsill. The hotel changed hands about a year ago as it went into administration. The new owners have not got the correct staff in place, as the customer service is extremely poor. No welcome or greeting on checkout and did not ask how the stay was. No thank you or goodbye either, he just stared at computer screen the whole time. The buffet breakfast was terrible. Sausages undercooked with a strange vinegary taste. Hash browns were stone cold and toaster took about 5 minutes just to get the bread warm.Wroxall Abbey has so much potential as the building itself and grounds are incredible. It's just such a shame that it's poorly managed and run.

Very good service for Sunday lunch, food was excellent. The building is obviously very oldand tlc is required but you cannot expect it to be like a modern buildingThe ceilings are very high and the dining room is spaciousI cannot understand some of the bad reviews as these old buildings take a great deal of money to look after. The gents toilet does need attention, but overall the restaurant is fine

Had and amazing experience at Wroxall. The place itself looks like a castle from the outside and with Morden rooms. I specifically want you thanks the staff that went above and beyond to help me during my stay. I had forgotten my charger at home and the lovely lady at the reception without any hesitation let me borrow hers overnight. Compliments to the chef Somy for amazing food. All the staff had a friendly face and really welcoming. Thanks for this amazing experience I will definitely book again to stay here x

We really enjoyed our afternoon tea at Wroxall hall.Great before a visit to Hay woods & Baddersley Clinton.Very welcoming & quick service. We loved the hall, the surroundings & some history there too.Shame the church was not open, I would of bought & lit a candle for my late daughter in there. The graves were interesting to read though. The food was lovely, arranged beautifully, nicely filled sandwiches & a lot of cake. The scones were the best we have had in a long time & a nice big size.We took the chocolate cake home,as we were so full & did not want to waste any.Maybe ask if you want choc or victoria sandwich,as they were big slices.Nice tea also & value for money on wowcher.

We have had a such a great experience staying here. We felt so welcome from the check in all the way to check out, and they made our dog feel like family too. We booked a hot tub with Prosecco and it was so peaceful looking into the field. The staff made sure we were happy, and were always happy to help. I can’t wait to come back and I’ll be recommending it to my friends.

Very nice location with clean rooms and friendly staff. Blown air heating wasn't sufficient and had to have electric heater in the room. Heated towel rail didnt work plus smart TV was hit and miss. Fire alarm went off twice and early Sunday morning. Overall pleasant stay.
