Another great stay at our favourite hotel. The wonderful staff as ever make the stay one that you want to repeat as we have been doing for years. Tracey, Michelle and Silva on reception were fantastic, always super professional and friendly. Breakfast offered great service and lovely food. Unbeatable location and good safe parking. What more could you ask for.Looking forward to our next visit already!!!!!!!

Lovely hotel. Great position in the centre (almost)of Stratford. Pay to park, but it's cheaper than most. Rooms are comfortable. Slight problem when we booked in as we were given the wrong room, but it was quickly sorted. Also, the receptionist couldn't tell us if the bar made cocktails, but we passed advertising clearly, stating that it did en route to our room. Not the best view from our window but not the worst either. We found the receptionist who checked us out to be much more approachable and professional. Didn't have breakfast or evening meal but I'm sure it's all good. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Thank you.

Staff very friendly and hotel was nice - great location for theatres. The decor was somewhat tired in places (peeling paint on radiator in the Shakespeare Suite not terribly impressive), the glassware in the room wasn't reassuringly sparkling clean (though probably was fresh) and the coffee machine had not been sorted/refreshed. Fine but not convincingly worth the premium price.

I booked 3 rooms for a family get together and celebration . All 3 rooms were very nice and the bottle of Prosecco in the room was a lovely touch. The receptionist was very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. …

We are in room 25 tonight, a Saturday. I am now in bed and hope my wife and I can sleep. The mattress is old and hollowed out from many visitors. The air conditioning is not working and only blowing air that is too warm. There is no separate sheet, so we will "sleep" with the duvet covering our legs. In the bathroom the towel heater is nice, but no way to shut off. The window sheers are old, ripped & frayed. We ate at the hotel restaurant. The food was very good, but the staff completely forgot to give us our bill. We were the last persons at the end of a busy restaurant night, sitting at our table and FINALLY had to tell the lone waitress that we still had not gotten our bill. The restaurant staff were all very, very nice, but it was comical that they neglected a tab of over 100 British pounds. We could not morally simply walk out the door. Clean accommodations, but overall, it's a 2 star.

On arrival the room was cold carpet stained as was the bedspread. The dressing table also had the previous guests things in. |I will say the young receptionist was excellent and sorted a portable heater immediately. …

We stayed 3 nights at swans nest, location is perfect for sightseeing. |Rooms are a little tired, more attention to detail is needed-no hook on bathroom door to hang your clothes onwhen in the excellent shower. …

As a Google reviewer l was very disappointed with this hotel from my experience staying there a month ago.1⭐️ for the service because when we first checked in the guy in reception sent me on a wild goose chase totally in the opposite direction to my room & also my friend & his wife, where as in the end l became very frustrated, annoyed & angry, stating the fact l have a disability & walk with a cane.My friends rescued me in the end from the reception waiting area where l ended up sitting down after giving up on finding my room number & took me the correct way to my room number, to add insult to injury there were no lifts for myself or one of my friends who also walks with a cane. The experience of having to climb 2 flights of stairs to our rooms was also a VERY painful experience for both of us.I give 2 ⭐️ for the room only because it was spacious but the hotel wall decor was dirty/stained/marked/streaks, the pillows had stains on the back of them & the carpet had a couple of stains on it.I give 5 ⭐️ for the beautiful location.Overall l will not be staying at the Swans Nest Hotel again.

Fabulous location, plenty of parking at the rear of the hotel.|Nice smart restaurant, limited menu, but food quality is excellent. |Room was clean yet a little tired! Nets old and torn..|But over two nights the stay was relaxing ,and great value for money.|You only have to walk 5 mins over the bridge, then your in the middle of town.|
