Popped in to see if we would like to stay in the future. Very accommodating staff showed us around. Spoke to the owner, who was lovely. Didn't eat or drink anything, but it looked delicious.

Staff were friendly and very helpful, room comfortable and well set out, food was absolutely fantastic both in the evening and at breakfast, all with good choices and large portions.Definitely be back when in the area and would recommend to anyone to stay here and try the Indian food, Although a good pub grub menu is available also.

A beautiful setting. The food was delicious. We stayed the night due to an engagement early the next day.The room was immaculate, shower was good. The problem was the springy mattress which you could feel uncomfortably so. The traffic noise was awful (not something the hotel has any control over, understandably).Managed about 5hrs sleep mainly due to the uncomfortable mattress. The stairs to the rooms were steep & narrow, quite tricky with a suitcase or anyone with mobility issues. The breakfast was OK, though the streaky bacon was overcooked & hard. No butter, only margarine for the toast, so we went without.A general uncomfortable atmosphere to be honest, felt rushed during the beautiful meal earlier in the day. We arrived 2minutes before check in, and were told as such. The bar staff & waitress were excellent. We would return for the food alone, having barely slept, we wouldn't book a room again.

A wonderful dining experience with three friends. We were greeted by friendly waiting staff who explained the menu for us and kept us 'watered' throughout. The food was delicious and we will be returning very soon to try the other menu options. Highly recommend 👌🏼
