A very memorable meal! Quite simply the best haddock Mornay I have, probably, ever eaten. Loved it! Will be back asap. The Cullen skink was great too. Great chef! Shame we were just passing through as I would visit often. Lovely staff who couldn't do enough for us

Stayed here for a few nights on a golf break with family. Enjoyed several delicious meals including breakfast and evening meals. The fabric of the building is a little dated in places but this added to the character of the place. Single beds in our twin rooms were narrow but firm and comfortable. Rooms were very clean and fresh smelling.Service was first class throughout our stay. From opening for breakfast early and making us bacon rolls to go to arranging a tasty chicken curry and rice for four after the kitchen had closed, the waiting staff repeatedly went above and beyond the call of duty. The private beer garden was a popular and welcome additional feature. All round fantastic experience!

Nice place, extremely busy in restaurant, could see why when we had our food, staff efficient and very friendly. Room rate included breakfast and was fairly priced. Clean room, we got last one available so a little smaller with a small en suite. Spacious enough and a supply of tea coffee and biscuits
