The Riverside is far from expectation of 4* hotel. It is 2.5* by my opinion. Old and not too good looking room, no wifi connection, old fashioned bathroom. I am really disapointed.

It's the best kept secret of the area! We came to the hotel as a group of nine because we'd booked fishing nearby, but fishing aside, we'll come back for more! The scenery, the other sports available (shooting), and the FOOD! The dining room was utterly amazing (book the private dining room if you have the party size to do so!) and the food was even better than it sounded on the already luxurious menu! The staff were as accomodating and friendly as it's possible to be - utterly faultless. We expected it to be very good, but we were utterly blown away. Thanks to the Ballathie House team. Utterly flawless!

The most well-kept building of the Ballathie House Hotel complex.
