By far the best weekend I’ve had! Wonderful staff, amazing food, entertainment was fab! |Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend! Laughing from start to finish. Rooms were lovely, cosy. Comfy bed! Can’t hear any noise at night from downstairs. Craig/family and every staff member are amazing! Definitely be back.

I have just stayed in the Hotel while I was working with the ambulance service on Millport and I can honestly say I thoroughly enjoyed the stay. …

Stayed here for 2nights with my son, staff were great and very friendly. We were in a room (The Sannox) on the 2nd floor, which was a bit of a climb (not bad if you are fitter than me), with it facing out the rear of the hotel. …

Came here for lunch with my colleagues and people we support. The staff were very welcoming and ensured accessibility for a large group and some have disabilities. Service was really good, and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend coming here for a bite to eat.

A comfortable welcoming family run hotel. Beer and good food, what more can you ask for. The staff were absolutely the stars in this show. One of the most enjoyable rainy afternoons I have had.

Had read reviews & thought I'd give it a try. As a solo customer (plus my dog) nipped in for a light lunch. Made to feel very welcome by all the staff. A very clean restaurant. Food was lovely and well presented. Would definitely recommend The Pier.

We recently visited the Pier Hotel in Millport with a group of 44 senior citizens, and I can't thank Craig Murray and his team enough for their exceptional hospitality. …

Don’t go in here. Worst hospitality in Millport. They scream at you if you head to the toilets before ordering food or drink..”toilets are for customers only”. Personally I don’t like to take my glass of wine into the loo with me. Also, during September weekend we tried to go in for drinks and were told to stand in the beer garden in the rain…. we were then told we could stand at the bar but might be asked to move if it gets busy…the chap on the door then turned to another member of staff and said “these people are just coming in out of the rain, we need to get rid of them.” We told him how rude he was and left. We are lucky enough to have a second home in Millport and spend approx half our time there….we won’t be spending another penny in that establishment.
