We had such an amazing stay at the beautiful Raasay House Hotel that we're still reminiscing days later. The room was incredible! We had so much space and comfort and the views all around are jaw-dropping. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly, responsive and informative. It was one of our best hotel stays and locations ever! We plan to be repeat customers!

One of the best hotels we ever stayed at! The impeccable service started way before we arrived. All the email communication was answered promptly. When we finally arrived here, the staff were very friendly and personable. We loved our spacious rooms with windows overlooking the lovely lawn and ocean, they were clean and well maintained. The restaurant served some excellent food as well!Although the best thing we did was having a very enjoyable bike ride after our dinner. The sunshine was still bright at 8 pm in May, but the last ferry was long gone, so we were able to ride our bikes with no one around. Truly amazing experience!

We stopped here to have lunch in the café. The staff were lovely, even letting us in 10 minutes early to get out of the rain. The service was great, & the food was fantastic! I can't recommend the venison burger highly enough! It's possibly the nicest burger I have ever tasted! We even bought some bars of locally produced chocolate from their very small shop at the back of the café. My youngest (who doesn't like chips) ate ALL the chips with his burger! The family was truly flabbergasted! 😂

Loved Raasay. Originally we were just planning to eat at Raasay House for the two nights we were on the island. However there was a mix up and our B&B did not have our booking in the diary (lesson to self, double-confirm whenever anything is booked with wee places only via email). So, Raasay House saved us – they had an economy or luxury twin available. We took the economy room, which had a separate but private bathroom. The room price wasn't very economy, I'd argue, but it was lovely and very comfortable; a part from two points: (1) even for a slim person, the shower cubical was very small and tight, with no shelf to pop your soap and shampoo on; then (2) I'm not sure whether it was just having the window open, or whether there's just thin walls, but too much sound of someone playing music until gone 23:00, was carrying to us. Luckily both good sleepers so this wasn't an issue. Where Raasay House excels is in just how beautiful building and location it is. Staff attitude and service was first class. So was the food. A very good breakfast spread buffet. Lunch sandwiches in the bar were very good. Evening meal service though is simply outstanding – scallops, steak, wine recommendations, desserts, all thoroughly enjoyed. Felt like the staff were genuinely so happy to be there. We saw some of the outdoor activities they run while we were out walking as well, and the provision looked excellent. This is definitely somewhere I'm chuffed to have discovered and will come back to.

We only used the café (twice). It's small, with enough seats for around 20 people. I had an Americano, delicious. Then there are the cakes and buns. Yummy! Prices, I would say are reasonable. …

Service was impeccable from the minute we got there to the minute we left. The hotel itself and grounds and location are absolutely stunning !!We had our two dogs with us as the hotel is dog friendly, they were both made to feel most welcome. The food was excellent, perhaps the best steak I have ever eaten !!Breakfast was all really nice quality, it was beautifully laid out with the most amazing views. The staff were all super friendly and obviously trained in hospitality to a very high standard. Our only gripe was our dog friendly room was a little on the small size and didn't feel up to the same special standard as the rest of the hotel. This isn't a cheap hotel so I don't really want to comment on value, however for £300 a night our room was very small and the TV didn't work properly due to a lack of reception.Having said that, we would 100% like to return in the future.

Service was very friendly and the food was good 🙂Booked a table for eating here in the evening, but apparently the restaurant was full so I ended up at the bar - which was a bit more crowded and had a TV showing ads for the hotel. Not really a problem - but it really should be mentioned ahead of time to avoid the feeling of bait and switch. There was a family that came in just after me who were visibly angry about the same thing. Going in, I was in the mood to buy more things, but in the end decided I just wanted to leave.I think if I knew that was the setup, I would have enjoyed that a lot more.
