The hotel is very good. Comfortable beds. Clean and modern facilities. Very well located and attentive staff. One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. I would definitely stay again.

Clean, fun and good vibes.||First night stayed in one of the 8 pod rooms which had plenty of space and privacy for myself. It was however a little tricky getting a an available shower room. …

Super close to both train stations (Queen Street & Central Station) and rather central. The room we stayed in really was spacious and the bed was comfortable. There could be a few more shelves to store things / clothes in, as the rack provided doesn't always suffice. We've had a room with shared bathroom which wasn't too bad, however, two toilets for the entire floor are sadly not enough (especially during "peak" times). In bigger rooms, it would also be helpful to simply have a small sink installed, so people can either clean their teeth or do their morning routine, etc. It's important to be aware that they play music the entire day in the corridors (seems like the same playlist every day, at least not a lot of change in music / songs), which you'll hear in your room. The check-in was a bit frustrating, as there's no flexibility whatsoever, only at 15:00 on the dot we were able to check in...The water pressure in the showers were good, although since the bathrooms do not have a window and the built-in ventilator seems not to be strong enough, it can be very hot / damp in there. It's certainly reasonable to stay there for a few days.I do appreciate the small sinks in the toilet cabins for menstruating people.Revolver claims to be an environmentally friendly hotel, however, they provide cheap plastic cups at their water dispenser or only have plastic plants installed (why not proper ones, if we ignore the fact that even that is not entirely environmentally friendly), which, in my opinion, doesn't really live up to their ambitions.

1 toilet and 2 showers between 24 beds. No lights out rules. Music blaring in the corridors until late at night. Plug sockets that didn't work. |Great if you don't like your sleep - but wouldn't recommend if you want some rest. …

Overall the place is good. My fiancé and I had a private room. The room had a great vibe, tall ceiling and a huge window. Our only negative is we arrived needing to do laundry. Asked ahead, laundry is available to guests from 5pm to 10pm. There were two washers, two dryers. We got in there about 6pm and the staff was using both dryers and one washer to wash towels. We had the need for three loads of laundry (two week trip, one week in). If the laundry is only available for 5 hours, it should be for just guests during that time. It was rather inconvenient.

Really comfy beds, with little curtains for privacy and a very hip decor- I was super comfortable, however it was a bit much for my partner and he found it was more of a party vibe, meant to be super cool and a bit too eccentric for him. …

Stayed here for 4 nights (Friday - Tuesday) and had nothing to complain about. Staff is very friendly and the hostel has a very welcoming atmosphere. There is multiple clubs right next to the hostel, which where really nice too, but can’t say there was too much noise coming into the hostel. The bunks are fine, only thing of note is that if you are (like I was) on the top bunk there are no railings and in my case the bed was freestanding in the room so it felt a bit too easy to fall off. Apart from that no complaints

Disappointed by this hostel and would never stay here again. Staff was very kind and overall the place was clean. Every morning there was no toilet paper in any of the bathrooms. There’s also simply not enough toilets and I had to wait 15 minutes just to pee at 1am. One toilet had a sink but no hand dryer or paper towels. The one toilet was also in the hall with double doors that met in the middle and closed with a small latch. This did not feel private and there were gaps in the middle of the doors and also offers no sound proofing. Showers had black mold and three of them had no temperature control. One person said their shower was cold but I guess the shower I had only had hot water but it was scalding and I could hardly shower. Lobby had a nice sitting area but people were not social or talking to each other. They also did no social events so I definitely do not recommend for anyone wanting a social stay.

one of the worst hostels i have ever stayed in. the bunk beds were 3 bedded and very unstable. every time someone moved the other 2 beds moved with them. there were not enough facilities like toilets, showers and lockers. the rooms were very musty and warm. at night people came back from going out. the reason there are so many 5 star reviews is because you get a free coffee with a good review!

There is not enough bathrooms for the amount of guests, the one toilet (shared between two dorms) had not even a working lock. In the morning there was a line waiting to use the one shower. Super loud door and lockers. The beds are tightly stacked, so let's hope you have no one above you (or you have claustrophobia) or you will be squeezed. The beds are clean and free earplugs, only good thing.
