What a hidden gem. This is a great back to basics campsite. We tented it but there are 5 berths for caravans and it also caters for camper vans. Hugh is great - helpful from the moment we booked. We stayed due to one of us playing in the Eden Trophy at St Andrew's and it was a perfect base. It's also 5mins from the Dukes golf course and a country park which is free. The field is quite exposed and it was windy at times but our tent was fine. Yes there are only 2 toilets and one shower but we never seemed to have to wait. Would stay here again. A quiet, proper campsite and a fabulous holiday - thank you Hugh.

Spent a week here, what a lovely site. The bottom field is well sheltered by the hedging and the farmhouse. Kept us snug as we had days of wind.Goodhard standing pitches in the bottom field, and grass pitches in the top field. We picked the site as it was close to St Andrews and we’d come to watch the Ladies Open.Hugh, the owner of the site was really helpful and always on hand to help with any kind of queries, the toilets and shower were beautifully clean and the hot water was scalding hot, fabulous views across rolling countryside. Most people on site for the week were watching or volunteering at the golf, so plenty of conversations to be had at the beginning/end of each day.The site was busy but quiet, and somewhere I would not hesitate to visit again.Easy to find and well located to visit not only St Andrews, but also go further North towards Dundee, and around the Fife coastline. We took a trip to Anstruther, and visited Tentsmuir forest as well.

Absolutely fantastic site. Hugh (the owner) is fantastic and he's there if and when you need him. The toilets and shower block were spotless and the site itself was spotless. The views of the countryside and cattle were amazing. Thanks Hugh for a brilliant stay

Had a great time at this site, nice and clean, with good access from main road. Toilet shower block kept clean through out the day. Great views over the surrounding countryside, and in a great location for local shops, country park and trips to the coast. Hugh the owner is friendly and has great knowledge of the area, a good site for all ages.

Great little site. Stayed there for 5 nights just recently. The farmer was very helpful and chatty. The only drawback was trying to reach the meter in the toilet. Yes, I am vertically challenged and couldn't reach the meter. Not a big deal though as I used the facilities in the van. Will definitely be back.
