Ordered a meal, which was niceOrdered two Soft drinks. The soft drinks came with more ice than juice. Had a couple of sips and noticed how watery they were. Explained and asked the service staff to exchange them. When she returned, she said we would still be charged for original drinks.Very Very poor customer service. And for some unknown reason, I said nothing, which really wasn't like me.On top of Very poor Customer service. They have the audacity to charge a Gratuity. For a large group, I'd understand. But for a couple that were barely served.Pretty Bad Practice. Will not be returning.

Lovely location. Nice young gentleman that served us. Pretty attentive and good service, apart from the beginning when ask for ID. Been at least 5 years since I’ve been in a restaurant when asked that. Especially for the prices we were paying. Not cool. My fault for not bringing it, but you could clearly tell she was younger then me by a couple years 😅😆Fish and chips were ok

Took my parents over for dinner while up visiting. Got one of the best tables (in my opinion) with fantastic views across the Forth.Staff were very friendly and the food was fantastic. Even our 6 y.o managed 3 courses without complaint. The only disappointment was realising that somewhere over the last few years, some people have forgotten that others are trying to enjoy their own experience at the same time as them. This is nothing to do with the restaurant or the staff.

A very interesting lunch here with entertainment provided by an extremely obnoxious solitary guest who insisted on seating herself at a table for four at the busiest time of day. She was then rude to anyone who tried to sepak to her about her selfishness and inappropriate behaviour. She even got up to get her own menu. The manager had the patience of a saint! We enjoyed our lunch which was reasonably priced and the food was very good. Our service was fine and we had no complaints. Wold certainly eat there again if our travels took us that way. Happy to recommend.

Went along midweek quite late in the evening and found this place to be quite busy. Despite this, we were attentively seen and our orders taken in fairly quick fashion. Our food did take a while to arrive, but it was worth the wait! The haggis bon bons were fantastic as were the chicken gyros. Would definitely return if ever back in the area.

We came to eat and for coffee last Friday at noon. We ate well but unfortunately the attitude of a waitress towards us shocked us. I asked her to come to our table to take our order but my girlfriend had just not finished reading the menu and when she came, I told her that I was sorry for telling her to come too quickly. But the latter was very arrogant. She literally sighed and rolled her eyes at the ceiling in front of us. I think that as a waitress this is not an appropriate attitude to adopt towards customers. Or at least she could have hidden her emotions. We did not deserve to receive this.Eloi

Had a table booked but then still had to wait over 30 minutes for food after ordering. Ordinarily wouldn’t mind this with good food but the chicken burger had minimal chicken and mainly batter and the French toast was very salty. Chips were really good. Just expected a better experience.

Visited for a special family meal for the 2nd time in six months. The first time in the Samphire restaurant and more recently in the Antico bar area. Both times, the food was lovely, and the service was fantastic. The staff were so patient and helped with things like enabling us to go out to the patio to get a big family photo between courses (before the sun went down), and bringing out cakes with candles at the right time. It helped make the day really special. The location is definitely a bonus, too.

Didn't really expect that I would run into Korean food in Edinburgh. All food we had was fantastic, and the service was the best as well. This is the very first place where we had the scotland beer for the first time😋. Thank you for the good food and good atmosphere. Oh, and Korean fried chicken was not really Korwan style, but we super enjoyed it. You made it a very nice dish😘 If we have a chance, we'd like to visit one more time in our life time :) Thank you🫶🏻
