The rooms are really spacious and have a nice view. The beds are also comfortable, and the room was amways clean. The breakfast is not the best, but it's OK.We went to the restaurant twice for dinner. I personally enjoyed the food a lot, both meet and fish dishes. The service is also remarkable - the waiters were always in a good mood.

Customer service employees from hell. We live in Maastricht and wanted to enjoy a nice breakfast on 2nd Pinkster day (National holiday) so we called in advance to make sure they were open. We were told that breakfast would be served until 11:00, so we hopped in the car and drove there (6 people in total)However, when we arrived we discovered that the restaurant of Auberge de Rousch was closed and only the hotel was open to have breakfast, but OK, then we decided to go there for our breakfast. We arrived at 10:50 and there were people sitting still and the full buffet was still out, BUT we were told that breakfast was no longer served. When we objected and told them we had called in advance, the lady went to her colleague to check and that turned out to be the lady we had spoken to on the phone. Surprisingly we were told that breakfast would be served only until 11:00 LITERALLY and that we could not sit down to eat. While I understand that there are rules in place there should be room for exceptions within reason and having us (6 people) sit down to have breakfast would hardly have constituted a problem, but instead the employees choose the ridged interpretation and refused to serve us. Disappointing and it speaks volume about how this place sees it guests and the level of service they stand for.

Great place for a relaxing lunch with great food. Friendly and service minded staff. Can recommend for every season in terms of surroundings and ambiance. Last time visited during winter with a decent amount of snow adding to the location.

Maybe because they are not used to the new set-up, but the part we were seated in, there were some things that went wrong or were not properly attended to. It seemed that most guests in our room had the same menu. But they got the order wrong of our table and another table had to wait almost 40 minutes for their main dish. The promised amuse was never presented. We also noticed that the plates of the other guests were richer decorated (cookie on the cream) or got more attention (pepper on the steak) than we did.The food was nice, but not special. The service did their best to right the wrong but it just didn't do it for us.We are sure that others will have a better experience than ours. I am not sure if we will return to see if the service has improved.

Excellent food, but needed a steak knife when thick slices of meat served. We were on a coach holiday, staying at nearby hotel,so had set meal each night, so cannot comment on menu options.

Food was good (enough). Service was however quite bad. The staff is untrained, slow and forgets orders. The bald man was incredibly rude and his attitude does not fit this type of restaurant. I advise him to work at a visboer.

Spent New Year’s Eve dinner in this fine restaurant. The atmosphere was great and the crowd was in good spirits. The table had starters of bread with three types of tapenade - pesto parmesan, garlic butter, tomato olives. Food was fantastic starting with the sample platters of appetizers. The burrata salad was amazing, the shrimp and smoked salmon appetizer was terrific and the carpaccio salad was exquisite. All appetizers were beautifully arranged and the flavours were balanced. My angus beef tournedos was cooked perfectly and the meat was tender and juicy. The stroganoff sauce was good and complements the meat well. Had the wine pairing for this dish and also awesome. Did not have room for dessert as was so full. A bit lacking in waiting staff which caused some delays but understandable due to the number of guests. Will definitely come back again.

Staff was pleasant, efficient and accommodating. Place is very cozy and comfortable and has a lovely ambiance with a sculpture on each table, candlelight, and exposed brick walls. English menus were appreciated; we enjoyed complimentary warm brown bread with butter, mixed olives and herb spread. Pumpkin Soup, Entrees with vegetables and potatoes, wine, bottled water, coffee and cookie tray. All for 80€!

Very nice place. The view is awesome. The staff are really friendly and helpful. They have an English menu for English speaker customers, which shows alot of respect. The food is good but a little bit pricey. However, they have a designed menus with a fixed price.
