This place was recommended to me by a local. They roast the beans on the premises. One of the best coffees I have had anywhere in the world! And in a characterful area a cockstride from the castle and cathedral

So happy to see so many vegan options on their menu, and they’re very tasty! They also allow dogs unlike some other cafes/restaurants in Quedlinburg.

We went to Samocca for breakfast as it was open at 9 (the earliest we could find!) and around the corner from our stay. The ordering is via iPad which allows for a menu in English if needed. Service was quick and the drinks (black bean coffee and Darjeeling tea) were tasty. We shared the scrambled eggs/brotchen combo with a side of bacon and added a croissant for good measure. All of this even with a rounded up tip came to €20 which is a great deal with a nice outside garden ambience. They also had some tasty cakes and other sweets if you stop by in the afternoon. Our favorite part was the inclusive hiring practices. Definitely give them a try!

We stopped for a coffee and didn't have a good time here. Not being native german speakers, our attempts to ask for a coffee were not successful and it took four people until we were grumpily ushered to a table. Everyone looked almost offended that we only spoke basic german. Their online ordering system was explained to us by a fellow guest instead. We quickly drank our coffee and left, feeling unwelcome. The cappuccino was good.

Offers a big range of specialty coffee varieties & super delicious cakes. Very decent pricing, amazing value for money, definitely recommend! Moreover, it’s a social enterprise employing people with disabilities.

Very delicious coffee and bagel. Nice atmosphere and garden. The best part is you can order through your smartphone, just with scanning a qr code. Unbelievable to see in Germany!

They have great coffee, and they ruin it when serving it in a French press. That means the first cup may be good if you know when to press it, but the next one will be too strong. The order is placed using an online tool, but the service of the people leaves a lot to wish for. Also, the post corona rules seem to be ignored completely

They have a good selection of single origin coffees but they serve them in a French press so you have no idea for how long it’s brewing already and when you’re supposed to stop brewing. It also doesn’t fit all in a cup so the rest stays in the French press and overextracting while you’re drinking the first cup. A bagel with fresh cheese was as hard as a chopping board, and had more sprouts than cheese.

Let's start with the staff, they're not only friendly but also extremely attentive. The variety of fresh dishes is both extensive and tasty. The range of coffees is also pretty incredible. Highly recommended!
