When you arrive, the signposts show you the way to key locations from the filming of the "Outlander" series, and the parlor has multiple pictures of the author and the actors with the proprietors.  …

We opted to stay here for our final night, being close proximity to the Edinburgh airport, after tourning Edinburgh, Western Highlands and Isle of Skye for 9 days.  …

Our stay at Parkhead House was incredibly special. We recently spent two weeks in scotland, which included seven hotels. Parkhead House was one of our favorites. It was so charming, especially with the open fields in the back which included sheep and deer. James and Angela made us feel like cherished guests. The breakfast was wonderful and our own table was set beautifully. I love that James came to the door to great us. He has a wonderful connection to Outlander and I cant think of a better place to stay if you want to see Lollybroch! It was a perfect, homelike retreat.Thank you James and Angela for be such wonderful hosts.

Amazing hospitality, large private sitting area, large bedroom. Every amenity was provided with wonderfully friendly hosts. An information book provided valuable information about transportation options. There is even an optional Outlander tour by James, the host, showing the areas of filming of the show, all which quite near by.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Parkhead House. The rooms are well appointed and the overall ambience is 5 Star+. The host was welcoming and accommodating and the setting private and peaceful despite despite being within an easy commute of Edinburgh, the Edinburgh Airport and local shopping destinations.
