I ate here on a Saturday evening. The pub had a cozy atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive. Not a great selection of real ales. The menu had a varied choice. The food arrived in a reasonable time. The outdoor seating area looked nice for a sunny day.

Had dinner here last night for the first time. Arrived to find car park full and had to park some distance away. Not their fault - presumably an event on in the building. Atmosphere was good. Staff were attentive and the service was excellent. Couldn't fault the food - good, wholesome cuisine albeit a fairly limited menu. Good value for money. Only minor issue was the wine at £7 a glass for a bog standard house white was a bit steep.I'd go here again.

I ate here on a Saturday evening. The pub had a cozy and friendly feel. The staff were welcoming. The food was tasty and arrived in a reasonable time. Not a large selection of traditional beers. The menu was quite varied with enough to choose from.

Came across the inn by chance on way home from holiday. Stopped for food and we were fortunate to get a table. Food was absolutely amazing and was obviously prepared fresh to order. …

Overpriced and poor food. Bruchetta, so soaked in oil that it wasn't possible to pick it up, and covered in cheap balsamic vinegar. I discovered later that the oil was not olive oil but rapeseed oil... The whole taste was just vinegar. Beetroot and feta salad, the same, I couldn't eat it, I was beginning to sweat due to the excess of vinegar. I asked for some olive oil to perhaps balance the vinegar but was told that they didn't have any, they did replace the salad with no dressing... the sea bass at over £18 a plate, one small fish dumped on top of a few small potatoes. The veg fajitas, well the broccoli was still frozen inside and the rest of the veg overcooked.. the saving grace were the puddings and the waitress was very pleasant.... but won't be back..

We were highly recommend about this place for a nice dinner evening and certainly the place just did not let us down. Food was just amazing and the service was outstanding and very friendly. If you are traveling this side of the country would certainly recommend to visit and enjoy their hospitality.

I organised a surprise meal for a relative’s birthday, where there were 16 of us in attendance. I booked the “snug” as recommended by the staff when I initially made contact. The entire evening went off faultlessly. The food was excellent and everyone’s clean plates after each course was testament to this. Staff were very attentive and service was great. I was asked, due to the numbers, if guests could give menu choices beforehand (apart from the surprise recipient of course!!) and let the chef have these a couple of days before. This was no issue at all and meant no delays in service, with everyone receiving their food at the same time.Everyone who attended the function has commented on what a superb evening it was.I highly recommend the Pitlessie Inn for food, atmosphere and service with a smile 😁

Another fantastic stay at Pitlessie Inn. We’ve stayed here on and off over the last 3 years while our daughter has been at university near by and it been a home from home. Always a warm welcome. …
