Wonderful hostess and the room we rented. Everything is very clean, neat, beautiful. The hostess is extremely welcoming and friendly. There is a very friendly dog too. The shower room is very clean, there are all bath and kitchen utensils. You can also order breakfast, which will fill you up for half a day. The house is very close to the train station to Edinburgh and other places.

The landlady was very unwelcoming & behaved as if she was paying me to stay. She refused to cook me breakfast on a Sunday morning when nowhere else was open for breakfast. She was a pain & listens to your conversations with other guests. She even came into another guests bedroom while I was in there chatting to ask why I as in there. She told a man he was influenced by the devil because he drink 1 can of beer. He was visibly upset & I had to console himShe went in my room every time when I was eating breakfast adjusting windows etc.she gave me a cool box to store food in. She never offered to freeze the cool blocks when they thawed. I was glad to leave there as were the other guests. I came in at the same this me as her & her dogs & she expected me not to use the 1 chair to take my shoes off as “that is where I dry the dogs”. It is quite a spacious hall so she could have done it somewhere else. The dining rooms on was freezing every morning. It is very draughty yet she insisted on leaving the dining room door open. I would never recommend anyone else to stay there. Also she commented on other 1 star reviews. If you have not booked there you cannot review. She is quite a liar & refused to give me a receipt for meals & a few extras I had.

It was amazing and surprising too. The room was so cosy, the breakfast was great. From my bedroom I had the glad surprise to have a view of her lovely garden. Debbie is really amazing, I got stranded at Perth station after work, she rescued me at 1 am, I can't thank enough for that. I see around reviews that people book without reading properly the description or even the title, as it is stated homely bed and breakfast and the complaints presented, are not realistic to the truth, it was exactly as it was offered, had a great time, felt at home!

Hi! I have been at Debbie Scottish home, in Dunfermline. It's not so far from Edinburgh and it can be a good experience to be inside the country and with a kind abd understanding woman. Her house is very beautiful with insteresting things and appropiate rules signs to the guests. I have learnt a lot sharing with a well-educated person and staying in her very clean house.I have the opportunty to walk and sighthseeing all around from the train station very near to the house. I have visited the Kelpies, Falkirk wheel, Edinburgh in the International Festival, and finally Queensferry and the three bridges.

The rooms are small and very close to each other. Thin walls, you can hear snoring in the next room. The owner is very annoying. She is very nosy and has a condescending tone in her conversation which wasn't pleasant. So many annoying restrictions. Breakfast could have been better.Although I am not so afraid of spiders but there were many spiders crawling on the floor. One time I went to take a shower and I found one in the bath tub, which creeped me out a little. I was disappointed that the bed and breakfast was not as private as I was hoping for. It felt awkard, like staying at some relative's house for the first time.
