Hotel keys don’t work on the front door. One hotel staff member was nice but the other one looked at me gone out when I asked if he could fill our kettle up and just pointed to the bathroom to fill it up by the tap. Also looked at us blankly when we handed the keys back, clearly doesn’t understand how to run a reception, beds where comfy and bathroom was clean but there was a massive fridge in the centre of the room and the blinds are baisically see through. Bit of a dodgy area location wise but easy bus route to the centre.

Booked a one night stay at this property on the 18th October, for an attic ensuite room with kitchenette. Turned up for check in after driving six hours to get there, to be given a key to a different room with a shared bathroom. Explained that wasn't what I had booked, to then be told by the guy on the check in desk that there had been a "mix up", and that there were no longer any other rooms available. Called the number given for the property owner, no answer. Currently going through booking.com customer service to receive a refund as it's been dragged out for several days and they couldn't get hold of the property owner themselves. My review from my brief time in the lobby:- room not even available despite clear booking- WiFi not working while in an area with little to no data signal- very loud constant beeping from fire alarm system in the lobby- fairly dirty and run down, both outside and in the lobby- customer service poor to non-existentWould absolutely not recommend for anyone even looking for a cheap and cheerful stay.
