This is a lovely hotel. The beds are the amazingly comfy and probably the comfest I've stayed in. ||The food is lovely but it's not somewhere you would go every night as it is slightly expensive. …

First time I’ve ever been outside of Stockport. Chose this hotel because the bus was right outside. It was exactly what me and my life partner needed to spark up our relationship. Shared bathroom was slightly inconvenient and got busy at night but me and my life partner found ways round it. The bed was loud and uncomfortable but me and my life partner came prepared with a blow up mattress so this was not an issue. The view was lovely but every 15minutes it would get blocked by a double decker bus. Would come back but bus pass ran out.

This is by far this most horrible hotel I have ever stayed in. Unbelievable is the word I kept saying to my partner as soon as we checked in. The place is incredibly noisy and looks like it is about to fall down! …

Cleaners do an awesome job. The staff are not very hospitable though. Everyone will try tapping you up for a cigarette too! They accept homeless refferals from the council and i dont think they do enough to welcome the people who come. I am going to buy the hotel lots of plastic cutlery so I dont have to see a disabled woman eating a hot meal she was given with her hands in the communal area. Most hotels usually provide utensils not this one.

I read the reviews here after being booked in and arrived with some trepidation. I was greatly relieved. The hotel has just been refurbished and is under new management. …

I stayed here over a period of six weeks whilst working at the hospital. The imperial is a decent hotel, it's nothing fancy and it's far from the ritz but, if you are just looking for somewhere to lay your head, and you're not to fussy …

The hotel was horrendous; there was no lifts or bell boys to carry heavy luggages for customers. The reception was locked; a staff member had to come unlock it before access to the reception was granted. …
