Exactly what I needed: proximity to the convention center and the train, clean and comfortable room, and the breakfast was well worth the fee. Only small complaint was when they extended my stay it went into a new booking rather than updating the existing reservation, so I had to exchange my key a couple times during the stay. Not a big deal.

Wow, my expectations were blown out of the park with this hotel. It was truly fantastic, and amazing value. The location is perfect - very central and a few minutes from the train. Everything is new and sparkling clean, well appointed, and the staff were so lovely and helpful. A shout out to Aya at the front desk who was so kind and welcoming and Dorcas at breakfast who was so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was phenomenal - definitely a highlight! Our room was so quiet and bed very comfortable, which made a difference given I am pregnant. The Maldron was the perfect place to recover after a long journey from Australia. Highly, highly recommend.

We really enjoyed staying at the Maldron Manchester City Centre hotel. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean, the beds were comfy and the shower was powerful with lots of hot water. The breakfast was awesome. Lots of continental and cooked foods to choose from. The dining area seating was comfy. We found the staff to be friendly and want to give a special shout because the highlight of our stay at this hotel was meeting Gary, who works in the restaurant area. He was friendly, professional, helpful and had a great sense of humour. He's a great ambassador for the hotel! We booked direct on the Maldron website, as after looking at some of the hotel booking websites, it was cheaper to do so.The location of the hotel is good, as it's only a short walk from Oxford Road railway station and the closest tram stop is St Peter's Square. We recommend this hotel for its location, friendly staff, value for money and fantastic breakfasts.

As a birthday treat my husband bought tickets to watch a gig, he booked this hotel after reading all the reviews; all was great on first sight however finding dirty bathrobes on the back of the bathroom door was a disappointment :(|Reported …

We were assigned an accessible room without being asked. The check-in process was also via a screen, lacking the personal approach you’d typically expect; the personal check-in is part of the experience. It felt more like a budget hotel, but not what I’d expect from this brand. No normal teabags available in the room. Breakfast was disappointing, with cut corners - jars of jam and lower-quality choices. Overall, it didn’t meet our expectations, and we wouldn’t book here again.

Really cannot fault it. Comfy beds, clean sheets, room had all the amenities I needed, shower was great, plenty of towels. The staff member who checked me in was very friendly and helpful. We were able to upgrade to a late check out the following morning at a charge of £10 per hour.

We booked a room with a single bed and a bubble bed, which was fine until the second night. When we returned to the hotel around 2 a.m., we encountered an issue. Although the security guard was courteous and diligent in keeping the premises safe, he checked our room number and informed us that it was only registered for two guests, even though it was a room designed to accommodate three. As a result, one of us had to sleep in the car, despite paying for a room with sufficient bed space for three people.

Mo, who we met on our 1st night was great! Friendly, funny, & took the time to chat w/us. Miriam & Sadia at the front desk were kind, patient (with my nonsense 😅) & accommodating. Mo, Miriam, Sadia & Gerry made our stay comfortable & amazing! Also the location was stellar. Everything was close!
