Nice room, comfy bed. Wayne at the front desk upgraded us and made a batman reference, was everything we could possibly want he provided excellent customer service. Great location was in easy walking distance of restaurants, bars and Oxford road station.

Upon arriving at the Leonardo I was greeted by Wayne who was amazing and getting me a room that I preferred (bath, floor, etc) he was really positive and really helpful. …

I recently stayed at the Leonardo Hotel City Centre Manchester, and while its location is undeniably convenient, the overall experience left much to be desired. The hotel is situated right in the city center, which makes it great for anyone wanting to explore Manchester, and it's conveniently located next to a mall. However, despite the prime location, the lack of on-site parking is a significant drawback. The hotel has an arrangement with Q-Parking, which is about a 7-minute walk away. Even with a 20% discount, the parking cost still came up to £14.62 — not the most ideal situation if you have a lot of luggage or are traveling with family. As for the room, it was fairly standard, nothing to rave about. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in my room was not working. With no other options, I had to leave the window open, but this brought in a lot of noise from the traffic outside, making it difficult to sleep. To make matters worse, someone near my room was smoking weed, and the smell was quite overpowering. I reported this issue to the front desk, but they said there was nothing they could do. That lack of response was disappointing.Overall, while the location is excellent, the issues with the room, noise, and lack of action from the staff really put a damper on my stay. I wouldn’t choose to stay at this hotel again.

Great modern hotel with everything you need. The restaurant food was average, and the customer service from staff there very underwhelming - but no complaints about the rest of the hotel. Also plenty of other dining options are very close by! Brilliant central location, at a reasonably good price. Would recommend.

I have give the hotel three stars because once I eventually got to my room, it was clean and pleasant, though a mini fridge would have been nice. However, and this is a really big "however", it took over 30 minutes to check in. …

I do not recommend coming to this hotel, based on a pretty awful stay I had between 18 and 20 September, 2024.The whole hotel is really dark; it's depressing. There was loads of noise in the corridor. Our room wasn’t cleaned -- even though we left a green hanger on the door. The shower water wasn't hot. The AC didn't function at all. The bath and sink were needlessly shallow -- you couldn't, for example, fill up your water bottle. The light switches were in really inconvenient locations. The TV wasn’t working for the first first day of our stay. There were barely any vegan options at breakfast; plus the restaurant area was hectic and overcrowded. I mentioned some of these things to someone at the desk, who seemed to take note, but they didn't do anything about them! Awful.Overall, this hotel isn't good value for money at all. Even if the room cost 50% of what it did, it would still be poor value for money.
