My friend and I arrived in the evening after a day of tours and as soon as we got into the building all we could smell was urine... We got into the room and a huge window was wide open.  …

The only bonus to this hotel was its a great location and my room was comfy and clean. However, staff and attitude let this place down majorly. I know what to expect with hostels, however, As a young female travelling on my own for work I had a drunk man knocking at my door shouting and swearing in the middle of the night. As there is no reception, I phoned, emailed, and text the staff number but to no reply. Due to the shared toilet I couldn’t even leave my room to use the bathroom due to the man being outside. The staff never replied to my message until I enquired about a refund the next day, and they initially denied it, and then said he was “only trying to enter your room as a mistake as he was intoxicated and thought it was his room” and to “forgive him for human error”. No apology, no understanding shown, just a simple “if you don’t feel safe stay somewhere else” which I think is a terrible attitude to have, I felt like I was arguing over text message with a teenager. Please just spend a little extra money to stay somewhere else.

Pure filth. I wish I had read the reviews before booking. This is the dirtiest and worst smelling room I've ever stayed in in my life. Not to mention the lack of space and anything other than a twin bed and a broken window. The "house" is in the most appalling condition. Reeks of cigarettes. I didn't even dare to use the shared bathroom - one look inside was enough. Dodgy people in and outside all night. We need to report this place. How can this be allowed to be on booking platforms?

Beds are very uncomfortable and unstable. Only 2 toilets with shower for many rooms, problems with warm water. Broken window which doesn’t close properly. Relatively expensive.

We booked this as a last resort as everywhere else was full - would have been better to stay outside the city! The walls were so thin and there was a group of loud men (sounded like a lot of them in one room) who were crashing around in the corridor and the room next door constantly between 3-7am until a couple of them left. Their TV sounded like it was in the room with us.The shared bathroom was dirty and mouldy, and the bedroom smelled like cigarettes. Beds weren’t too horrific, but that wasn’t worth much at this point.Don’t waste your time - it’s not even particularly cheap (I’ve stayed in much cheaper/nicer hostels).

Before you book. DONT. Apart from location this place has zero to offer. If your after a wardrobe don’t. And iron you would be lucky. Kettle or even your own bathroom. Yes it’s shared dirty old bathroom. Rooms and not much better as little under beds and broken windows. Host was off sight and doesn’t respond to any questions. Find extra £20 and stay somewhere else.

I would not recommend this accomodation. If possible, avoid it. We did not want to use the shower.First of all, the Check-in was very nerve wrecking with the staff. I did Not get the door Code and he was Not very helpful (to say it polite).I've booked just one night.I'm Not Sure the bed linen were washed?Overall, next time I happily pay a few bucks extra to get a nice room.

One of the worst places I've ever stayed. The mattresses are basically springs with a sheet of fabric on them, the room was grotty and the window doesn't close due to some intriguing interior design choices and severe damage to the bottom …

We had a seamless stay in a clean room with an en suite bathroom. ||This is a very typical, small, budget hotel. …

This is the first time I’ve felt compelled to write a trip advisor review. This is the dirtiest room I’ve ever had the displeasure of staying in. …
