To be clear from the start: this is a review based on a visit to the bar in the hotel - not of the hotel itself. …

We were staying at a nearby cottage and ventured out to see what was dog friendly in Roy Bridge. We found the Roy Bridge Hotel and were welcomed by Iain who we had already met earlier with his own dog.  …

When I visit the Scottish Highlands I sadly expect neither value for money or decent food, but this place surprised even me, due to its unwelcoming atmosphere, overprced cheap quality meals and drinks and strange room rules, such as only …

Stayed for 2 nights in a lovely wooden lodge with view of river and a balcony, it was lovely and clean throughout. Great hosts, couldn’t do enough. Food was fabulous. Dog friendly in both the lodge and in the bar, easy to book. Would recommend if staying in the area.

Wasn’t staying in the hotel but in the Bunroy Park camp site. Popped in for a beer and they had Ale…..even better! |Bar staff very welcoming and very informative of local knowledge and surrounding area. Chatted to other holiday makers from Madrid who ate and they said food was excellent. Will certainly revisit if in this area again.

Forgot I still had an account here, glad I did so I could review Roy Bridge Hotel. ||First of all the food was okay, nothing special but not a disaster. ||Didn't realise there wasn't a restaurant only a noisy bar, with dogs barking. …

Very comfy beds and a really nice shower, basic room but more than suitable for work with tea and coffee etc and free wifi.Sadly the signal is pretty non existant, unless you walk towards the road due to the surrounding hills. They dont allow cooking or hot food in the bedrooms as the "smell lingers" however there are chairs and a table outside to eat at..Not a single takeaway delivers to this place and food choice is minimal and extortionate, so a non smelly food shop with snacks etc is probably ideal.

We spent a Wednesday night here during May Half Term as we couldn't get a room anywhere else. This hotel is based near Fort William with plenty of amenities nearby. The hotel itself was very dated but had charm and was immaculately clean throughout. We were greeted in the bar by a nice gentleman who showed us to our room and gave us a key to the room and the front door so we could come and go as we pleased without having to enter through the bar.The hotel had a bar and restaurant, but the prices were a bit on the premium side, so we chose to eat elsewhere. We paid £89 per person for the night, which is a bit steep for what we got, especially considering we didn't even get breakfast. I believe the price was increased knowing there were no other hotels available in the area.
