A standard welcome, a brief explanation of the house rules, no shoes allowed inside which was ok but a bit weird to us. We had our own bathroom but to get there we had to use the common hallway which made it a bit less convenient. The room itself was clean but small, not the best sound proof walls but luckily quiet neighbors. The breakfast the next morning wasn't really inviting to us, the door was still closed before 8am, so we decided to leave for the city center to grab some breakfast there instead.Parking was free, either on their property or the street across which was no problem. The location is also very good, 5 minutes walking distance from the town center.

I really wanted to ignore the reviews and give this place a chance it looked so perfect for us a young family ( husband wife and six year old daughter)This was my first mistake. After a nice message confirming our check-in time from the owner that he will meet us and it was all fine. We turned up to the worst welcome ever " your late" we arrived at 8pm which was agreed in the message. We took our bits in and headed out for dinner in to the town. Stopped at the drive way by the owner he has been clearly waiting and watching us on the very visible CCTV cameras around the house. He said I didn't know there was a child. I explained the phone call and email confirmation in his words saying our daughter could use her travel bed and he would make room for her on the floor moving the coffee table. He said oh yeah I remember my mistake. I think this is disgusting as this conversation happened in front of my daughter who was so excited for her holiday.he walked off no apology. The breakfast is non existent the 4 mornings we were there there was no bread supplied or pastries at all. After this we felt so uncomfortable using the kitchen we didn't bother as you felt like you were being watched constantly as the owner clearly lived in the extension and him and his partner used the house as there own cooking most of the day. on Easter Sunday him and his partner had the most horrific argument in the kitchen my daughter and I could hear every word the shouting was unbearable was so loud we left and went for a small walk. We really just wanted to leave at this point. The last day we ran out of loo roll we had one for the 3 of us for 4 days after a two hour wait he brought us one stuffed it in my husbands hand and gave him a dirty look safe to say never go again.

We booked this accommodation back in early January for 3 nights in May (9th to 12th) as we had tickets to the Skye Live festival. When we arrived the owner said he had no record of our booking!  …

I stayed in this accommodation for one night with my friend and below I have listed the positives and negatives:+ Everything is available in the kitchen+ A later check-in was possible after telephone consultation+ comfortable bed+ good location (close to the centre)- cold/unfriendly treatment- you have the feeling of being watched (surveillance cameras at the entrance + the owner appears somewhere all the time)- the walls are made of paper. You can really hear everything from the other rooms- the usage times of the kitchen are very limited- the water did not drain properly in the shower- overall the bathroom was not very well cleaned- very expensive in comparison- the owner uses the kitchen himself for cooking. For example, there is also a coffee machine there, which he uses, but which is covered with a rubbish bag for othersAll in all, I cannot recommend the accommodation.+++Addendum:Obviously you don't seem to be able to deal with criticism. After your response to my review, I would like to give you even fewer stars, but I think that would be unfair.I would like to add the following to your points:1. we were not offered breakfast. I don't know what you read, though, because I didn't criticise anything.2. Yes, I did. The following night we stayed in a hotel and only paid a fraction of the price despite better service.3. I checked my call log. We asked 2.5 hours in advance whether it would be possible to check in later. If you had refused, we would have arrived on time. But I see it as a positive point that this was possible, which is why I don't understand your harsh tone.

That's great. Thank you very much to the owner, they were hardly ever on site, yet they were always there to help. What I will note - the atmosphere, the host is the captain, it's cool. The room although small, but comfortable. There is a kitchen where you can prepare your own food, after a long journey. Common room where there is a big TV and you can relax and unwind.Breakfast - it is not included and it is stated everywhere, which we were well aware of. But thank you so much just for little things like coffee and toast with jam as a little bonus. Recommended!!!

This was not good value for money. I was charged £110 a night for my room and it was described as “luxury”. To me that means plenty space and somewhere to sit when not in the bed.  …

Had a really nice stay for two people :) The house was quite charming with a lot of personal touches, the kitchen was well equipped with plenty of space for cooking. There were breakfast ingredients we could use such as bread, tea&coffee, oats etc. and condiments as well. Could have used more toilet paper already present in the bathroom so we wouldn't have to go asking for more (we had one roll for 4 nights at the start), but that wasn't a big issue. Very good location, hope I can come back again someday :)

This is a glorified hostel for a high price. It is a house and each guest gets a bedroom, the rest are shared spaces. The owners seemed nice enough. But the whole place needs a deep clean and upgrades. Floors hadn’t been vacuumed, dust all over, but the beds were the worst part. So uncomfortable and very itchy/worn flannel sheets! The faucet in the shower was also leaking constantly so there was mold. Some new bedding and a good clean would do this place well.

It’s was marketed as Bed and Breakfast but it’s was more like a Air B&B. English B&B usually includes served breakfast. …
