The lodge has a years gone by feel to it, with a guest lounge, honesty bar, books and board games. The rooms are very much in need of refurbishment, but were clean, a good size, with an ensuite bathroom.  …

This hotel is exactly what you want for a Highland trip. Michael was a wonderful host, very attentive and gave us brilliant recommendations for walks and sightseeing (try the Waterfall walk -beautiful). Great full breakfast with eggs, cereal, bacon, cold hams - you name it. A lounge to meet other hotel guests in the evening. Older, quaint rooms with comfortable beds which is all you need. Thank you Michael - our hearts and bellies are full!

The hotel is very dated. Bathroom tile looks to be new. Rooms are poorly decorated, closet doors don't open easily. Parking is a bit nuts...people just park where ever, hard to fit all the guests in. Should be marked.Liked that breakfast tables were assigned by room number. It was a typical B&B breakfast.Reminded me of an old 70's motel but without the cigarette smell.

I wanted a double bed. I had two singles pushed together making a king size. Instead of using a king size duvet - the bed had two singles. Tea and coffee in the room.... Paper cups! £120/night for paper cups. …

This hotel is comfortable and clean in a beautiful setting, a short walk from the harbour and the beach and a 5 minute walk from a marvellous restaurant. …

They catered for our group adding beds into rooms. Before arrival we checked the reviews and it only seemed the breakfast was the downside however, we never found that to be true it was great. Customer service and food was excellent and the rooms were just what we needed 👍🏼

We’ve been travelling for a month, and Gairloch Highland Lodge were the kindest folks ever. The host went out of his way to make us feel welcome, to help us find our way around town and to make us comfortable during our stay. I also appreciated their commitment to sustainability, and brekkie was bloody lovely. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Rooms clean but dated. Nice view from the window of the harbour. You could even see the missing tiles from the roof! Glad we didn't get that room. No food in the evening and the reception was cold, told I would.have received an email informing me of no evening catering, though not received. Ended up at the Black Pearl for a great meal.Breakfast was very underwhelming. Cold bacon and sausage, rubbery eggs.Over priced for what you received, I think about £30 to £40 less would.have been a more realistic charge. No interest in feedback when we left.would not go again.

We stayed one night. The hotel is in a lovely position. Our room was clean and was a good size. The two beds pushed together were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and clean but at 05.30 there was no hot water in the shower. …

Well, that was different...||We booked this as we had left our travel planning too late and other options weren't available.  …
