Lovely new friendly owners. Went out their way to chat to us. Our room was bright and comfortable. Full Scottish breakfast was super - chef also really friendly and very personable. Good parking onsite. Easily placed for NC500. …

This hotel has recently changed hands and we were keen to support. Arrived exactly at time of booking but table wasn't ready.... not a problem but the 55 minute wait to get first courses was frustrating, particularly as no one was …

I don't ask much from a cheap hotel, I want a bed and a shower. This shower was horrible. The shower head was broken and wouldn't stay up, and there was absolutely no hot water. The room itself was dated and the best was decent at best. I wouldn't stay here again.

Stayed for one night in August 2024 – it was great! The hotel has great rooms with confortable beds, a free parking, optional breakfast (which was great by the way), and the staff and owner were lovely. There is a pub downstairs so you can have a drink (and maybe food) at night. The value for money is great, I would recommend to anyone.

Terrible food (mixture of overcooked and raw) very small portions ,awful service considering their logo is service matters . Had the menu spoken at me rather than giving me a menu which meant I had to make my choice straight away. …

When we arrived we thought the place was closed as there were no cars parked out front. The hotel became under new management a week before we arrived. The room was large as was the en-suite, but everything was a little tired. However workmen were there the following day as we left, renovating the place.
