We stayed for two nights just to get away- it is glorious! The converted cart barn is absolutely stunning with everything you could need. It's been beautifully converted and was fully equipped- we even got cake on arrival. …

We had such a lovely stay. Hugh and Jess were so welcoming and the accommodation was lovely. It's perfectly situated for walking and other activities in and around the beautiful village of Horsted Keynes. My only regret is that we only had one night as a break on our Beacon to Beacon challenge walk. Maybe we'll have more time in the future.

Sussex is a very difficult place to find lovely, comfortable summer accommodation, so Burghurst Lodge is a godsend! I was looking for a week's self-catering, and was a little confused that Jessica advertised as B&B.  …

High quality b&b in a detached building. Easy to book by email. We stayed 4 nights and walked many of the local footpaths and found good places to eat in the surrounding area. Jessica's breakfast pack is more than adequate and it is enjoyable to be able to have breakfast whenever suits us. Highly recommend.

A beautiful place, more like a holiday cottage than a B&B. The room was comfy with a bed and a couch, the shower was clean and roomy, and there is a small, fully stocked kitchenette complete with delicious cake (Honestly, its such good …
