We had a great 1 night stay at Moonlight cottage whilst walking the South Downs Way. Bedrooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Everywhere was lovely and clean and it was great to have a living room we could use in the evening to relax in. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious! Would definitely recommend!

After a long walk with friends, had a lovely stay at Moonlight Cottage. Everything very clean and beds comfy. Bev was very welcoming and the breakfast and pack lunch for our next stretch of the South Downs was great. We had an evening meal at the Blue Bell just down the road which was ok!

Bev's Moonlight Cottage was a very luxurious stay which is exactly what my feet needed on the South Downs Way. The Bakehouse was beautifully presented with lots of character and a well equipped kitchenette with exceptionally generous breakfast hamper. Thank you for a very welcoming stay

After a very rainy day on the South Downs Way, we were so happy to arrive at the moonlight cottage. We were surprised by the amount of food (soup, cake,...) that was set out for us and it was the perfect place to get warm and dry again. Clean, warm and very cozy!

We only stayed one night as we stopped on the South Downs Way which was a shame because the Cottage is amazing and perfect for a weekend getaway (or even longer). …
