I was asked to give details of what beds I wanted in our family room and asked for 2 singles and a double - arrived to 2 doubles 🤷🏼‍♀️too late to change. I was under the impression that with my booking breakfast was included but as they wanted to charge me £10.99 for a sparse veggie breakfast, I declined. Aside from that, room was great and location was great with a decent price.

The location of this hotel is absolutely stunning. Only around the corner from an essential corner shop and a further few minutes to a parade of local shops. The rooms are decorated so well, aesthetically the best looking hotel I’ve stayed at in the UK. Very close by to Gatwick airport but also far more peaceful than anywhere else in the area. Trivelles stands out so much in comparison to other local hotels. I’ve lived in the area for 25 years and can honestly say I will never use a different hotel after having such a fantastic experience here. The rooms are so clean and fresh, even the microwave, mini fridge and kettle were spotless! Heating is super efficient and the bathroom has an overhead and regular shower in it. More importantly than anything else, the staff here have given the best customer service I’ve had in a hotel. The hotel alone is more than worth the price to stay in but it really is the staff here who make it exceptional. This is the best affordable hotel I’ve ever been in, actually it’s the best hotel across the board. If you choose anywhere else to stay near Gatwick you’re genuinely missing out. Gold mine!!!

This is a nice hotel with comfortable and pleasant rooms. Great if you have a car, but it's beautiful rural location makes it tricky if you are reliant on public transport. The nearest bus stop is a 20 minute walk away and the taxis are not cheap. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good, with a tasty veggie option prepared by a lovely, kind chef (perfect poached eggs).

I have stayed here regularly for the last few months, the staff are all very friendly, helpful and keen to ensure a pleasant stay. The rooms spacious with fridge and microwave, very clean with a comfortable bed. The grounds are very peaceful with a large garden area. Overall, excellent value and a great place to stay.

Room was clean and tidy, very good bed and very good cooked breakfast. Good service from staff.Downside:- the bath did not have any handles on the side, and at some staircases rails were missing.- there's a dirt track up the to the hotel with quite a few potholes.

This hotel is quirky with an amazing downstairs room which we sat and used in the evening. The rooms are basic but well-stocked and the staff are exceptional in their customer service. The access road is a bit of nightmare as it's poorly maintained, but we left our car there for 8 nights (for an additional £7/night) and it competed with the price of long-term parking.

Decent enough hotel with large and fairly clean room and friendly staff. It's in the middle of nowhere which can be a little inconvenient but we coped okay. The building itself is lovely and is set in acres of land and the surrounding areas are beautiful. Not at all bad for the price.

Beds uncomfortable, carpets fraying, tap heads loose, need fresh silicone in bathroom, breakfast tables, floors and utensils dirty. Paid for breakfast ×3 ,had an allocated time , expressed our departure time to leave, Guaranteed no problem but chef was running really late so we had to leave. Chef said will get refund, contacted reception via email for refund, still waiting after 9 days!!!
